I have a feeling that once we are on the ship that my children DS(10) & DS(6) will not want to have dinner with my husband and I but remain in the club. Friends of mine told me that the dinner experience is great. Which night should I get the kids to have dinner with us (except for Palo of course)? :confused3

Definitely for Animator's Palette. The room will start as black and white sketches and fill in with color as the night progresses and the decorations and servers uniforms change too. Movie clips from disney movies are playing on the walls as well.

I absolutely agree. Animator's palace is not to be missed!

I thought that, but my kids, 10 and 7 at the time, NEVER missed a night in the dining room, even the night we went to Palos. THe wait staff was so wonderful and playful... why not, it's Disney! .. that they loved them, too.
I think they did lunch inthe clubs one day when we went ashore to shop.

I would say animators pallet and Parrot cay. The first night you are in each resturaunt there is a show put on by the staff, only the first night for each rest. I think the Animator Pallet and Parrot Cay were the best.

We will keep dd 4 3/4 for the first three nights for the first rotation and then probably after that just for appetizers and then bring her back to camp, but she might surprise us and want to stay which would be great too, but since we have late seating who knows how tired she will be and we want to keep our seating so we have more time in the afternoon to enjoy the ports and the ship.

It may sound crazy, but . . . My DD would come to dinner with us. We loved the kids with us. The server brough her dinner so she was done early. I took her up to the club. There were some things in the club she wanted to do. Then, We would finish our dinner leisurely. Then, I'd pick her up from the club in time for the show in the theater! It was the best of everything.

My kids loved the shows and didn't want to miss them.
