Which resorts have connecting rooms?

I am trying to look at all options. We are a family of 7..so the suites at Music and AoA are out. I think POP has them. Do the Little Mermaid rooms at AoA have them? How about at the moderates? Thanks in advance!

I will guess you are two parents and five kids. I know that lots of folks said they have gotten their request of connecting rooms, many have said they did not.

For ease and no craziness at check in should you not get connecting rooms - I would pack my bags with the items each room would need should you not be connecting. Say Mom, Kid 1, 3, 5 all packed together and Dad, Kid 2 and 4 packed together. If you get connecting, great, but if not at least there is not trying to split everything up.

As mentioned above, all resorts have connecting rooms. We've traveled to Disney as a family of 7 on several trips and needed/wanted connecting rooms. We always stayed at Pop Century when needing connecting rooms because I was told (and read somewhere) that Pop has the most number of connecting rooms out of all of the resorts. I wanted to increase our odds of getting the rooms, so that's where we stayed. I also didn't make any other requests for the room -- I wanted connecting rooms to be the priority. We always got them...even when 2 of our "kids" were over 20 years old and we always travel to Disney in June. On one trip, I didn't like the location of our rooms and asked if they had something closer to the main building. It took about 2 minutes to find connecting rooms in a much better location. So while I know there are people who *don't* get their requested connecting rooms, we've always been fortunate enough to get them and I'm sure some of that has to do with choosing the resort with the most number of connecting rooms and making that our only request.

I second this. My mother-in-law is a fanatic with needing connecting rooms (I am not a fan since her habits are quite different from my husband's and mine and we always feel obligated to be in her room when we are at the resort). We once went to Pop Century and I had requested connecting rooms first (my husband was not with us on this trip but his whacky aunt was - my worst Disney trip ever) and then the 50s buildings second. When we arrived, we had connecting rooms but in the 70s. My mother-in-law was insistent on getting the 50s because she knew her whacky sister would LOVE that section. I replied that I thought the connecting rooms were critical. Mother-in-law insisted on 50s. We didn't get connecting rooms and that was a blessing I didn't realize until the whacky sister arrived and then I was glad.
