We have reservations for POR next month. That includes two parents and three kids 11, 9, and 6. I was wondering what other Disney resorts allowed you to have five people in a room. Thanks.

Only portions of POR have sleeping for five (rooms with the trundle bed). Others where most rooms can have five are GF, Poly, Cont, YC, BC, BWI. You can also get 5 or more in suites at some of the others (like WL and AKL), at the Fort Wilderness cabins, and in 2BR's at OKW, BWV, VWL and BCV.

I think I can answer this one!!

POR & POFQ are the only moderate ones that suit 5. The remainder are the deluxe or home away from home resorts. For just a standard hotel room it would be
Boardwalk- 2 queens + daybed
Beach Club/Yacht Club- same
Polynesian- same
I think Contemporary too.
Grand Floridian- same

For suites- really any that have suites- for example, Wilderness Lodge has a queen, bunk beds, and a day bed. And most other 1BR or 2BR at Old Key West, any of the villas etc. would accomodate you. Animal Kingdom Lodge also has suites too.

Another option as they get older is to get two standard rooms and let the kids have one and you the adjoining- sometimes this works out cheaper than say one night at Beach Club etc.

In my research for my upcoming trip, I've found the following people sleep five in a room:

Contemporary
Polynesian
Yacht & Beach Club
Grand Floridian
Port Orleans Riverside
Animal Kingdom Lodge (deluxe rooms)
The Swan and Dolphin (with a roll away bed)

My family of five has decided on the Polynesian for our trip in August.

1BR or 2BR at Old Key West, any of the villas etc

1 BR at OKW sleeps four, all the DVC resorts one bedroom units sleep four. There a limited number of studio plus units at BWV with a small day bed suitable for a young child.

Correction: There are no rooms for 5 at POFQ. All the rooms for 5 at PO are in the Alligator Bayou section of Riverside.
