As a DVC member I would say staying at BCV has a different feel IMO, since you are located outside of the hotel in a separate building. If you are staying in a studio, personally I see no advantage, and depending on what you are doing it could be a disadvantage (I'm sure others will disagree). Studio will have 1 bed and a sleeper sofa instead of 2 beds (the murphy bed as well as noted in the post above as well). So depending on who is in your party that can be good or bad. The studio isn't a kitchenette unless you consider a microwave and fridge a kitchenette. Its not like you can prepare meals. In a 1 or 2 bedroom you have a full kitchen. Furnishings will be different as well. If you are at BWV, since it is part of the main building it has more of a deluxe resort feel to me, but that just my opinion.
