My friend Caitlin and I are planning a November trip to WDW for MVMCP and the holiday festivities! We want to do a split stay, with 2-3 nights at GF and another 3 nights at a different deluxe. Right now it's between:

BWI: So we can have the experience of staying at an Epcot-area resort. We also love the theme of this resort, and getting to stay on the BoardWalk seems really fun.

CR: I'm not into the theme of this resort, but it's significantly less money than the other deluxes we're considering, so the idea of saving money on the first 3-4 nights is appealing.

Poly: The tropical theme seems fun, and people rave about this resort. But since we're also staying at GF, Poly has to be pretty incredible to be worth paying similar prices to stay at another Magic Kingdom-area resort.

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your advice!!

Definately BWI. We have done several split stays between the monorail resorts and the Epcot resorts. You get the best of both worlds!

I would go with the BWI, if you can swing it financially. The Poly and CR are just too similar to the GF because of their location and their connection to the monorail. I know, for my family at least, if we're staying on the monorail we will also visit the shops and restaurants of the other two monorail resorts, so there would be a feeling of been there done that. It's also the same reason staying at the YC and then switching over to the BWI wouldn't be my first choice for a vacation.

I would do the WL for the holidays it is gorgeous! Then I would go to the BW

I agree, I say the BWI... Its such an awesome place to stay, and so very different...

Since you are already staying at one of the monorail resorts, I would select BWI for the other nights. :)

I agree about BWI. I am one of the biggest Poly fans there is, but I don't see the point of switching to another MK resort. Have a great trip with your friend!

My vote is for Boardwalk. It's fun & the boat to Epcot & MGM are so much better than taking a bus. Even the ability to walk over to Epcot is fantastic!

I know it is not one of your choices but we are renting at OKW. It is absolutley beautiful/ The scenery there can't be beat. The rooms are huge compared to the other resorts and it is so relaxing compared to the noise and confusion of some of the others. If you want to get away from it all after a day at the parks then I would consider it.

Sounds like BWI it is!! Thank you so much for your input. I'm going to look at the rates and see if it's affordable for us to do both BWI and GF, and if so, then that'll be the plan!!
