Hi,
I posted the same question on the resort board - but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me which Disney resort would have the best pool and playground area for an 11 month old. We are booked at Coronado Springs, but are considering changing to Port Orleans or Beach Club/Yacht Club. Thanks for your ideas!

I think I am slightly biased on this one because we LOVE Coronado Springs and have stayed there numerous times. I have three DS's (now age 6, 3, and 10 months). The first time we went there was when my oldest was 22 months old and have gone back ever since and will be there again this July!

I have stayed at other resorts on-site such as Carribean Beach, All Star MOvies, and back when it was Dixie Landings. Coronado has been our favorite for appeal for both us and our kids. The large pool with pyramid is always a catch. The kiddie pool is convenient and the play areas are great including the dig site!

If you haven't already check

They have resort facts sheets, reviews, and photos that might help make your selection!

Anywhere you stay you will have a wonderful time! Good Luck!

Melanie

Thanks!! - Do you know if the main pool at Coronado Springs is zero entry or not?

I would say one of the monorail resorts is good with a little one because it is so easy to get in and out of MK and Epcot.

I already responded to you over on the other board, but ill say it again...BCV!!!!!

I have been going with kids since 4 mo old.....................

I love POR and CSR..........just based on if I had to go again with an 11 mo old I would pick CSR.

The playground at POR is in a wooded/sand area. We found it to be alittle too buggy for us, and I think geared for a more independent child. The CSR is in the open by the pool and is clever in theming and I think would be more fun for you all.

The baby pool at CSR seems much bigger. When we went there were giant fish squirting water, but later pictures indicate they are gone. We were there with a toddler and it was great she could play and we were also right there at the big pool at the end of the slide for the other kids.

Now I have not stayed at YC/BC but my sister did with toddlers and while loved the hotel theming and location to EPCOT was not happy with the long distances they had to walk to the main part of the hotel. The kids were overwhelmed in the SAB pool. She felt she had paid alot of money and had to work harder because the kids were young, and didn't get benefit of the pool area. I don't know that she will go back there again until they are teenagers.

I would stay with CSR ! :Pinkbounc
