Which Resort to choose

Hi Everyone, We are going to WDW Dec. 15-22 and are unsure which hotel to stay at. We have decided on the the values because we won't be in the room much but can't decide between POP and AS Movies. My DD's are 7 & 9 so i'm not sure they would be into the themes at Pop but then again they are more into the Lion King and Little Mermaid as opposed to Fantasia or 101 Dalmations. Any help or advise in deciding would be greatly apperciated

While I have never stayed at All Star Movies, I thought the same thing about the movies that are represented, my dd's 8 & 10 aren't big fans of any of them besides maybe 101 Dalmations.

I have stayed at Pop (without kids) and loved it!! The bus service is great since they don't share with other resorts. The lake and bridge are beautiful and give this resort a little more of an upscale feel. The best part of all is that you can get Icee's in your refillable mugs at the food court!!

Go to allearsnet.com and look at pictures. The icons they have are really neat and appeal to all ages. When my dd's saw the pictures they chose this resort over WL.

My only warning if you decide to stay at POP is to be ready to feel old!!! I took my son, who was 10 at the time, and spent most of our time at the resort explaining what an 8 track was, who PacMan was, and what all the other little "decorations" from the decades were.

It was a very neat resort, but then again, I liked the movies too. It was very "Disney". But I agree with DisneyFan09. The buses did seem a little less crowded at POP, however, I beleive there are more buses for the AS hotels as there are more people staying there.

Wow, I thought everyone knew who Pacman was. Now I feel old, and I'm only in my 20s
My only complaint about POP, is...the bus service. I find it takes to long for busses to arrive, and they are always overcrowded..especially in the morning. Thats just what I think though.
As for kids, I think they would enjoy POP. With the POP jet pool area for kids and the huge icons like Playdoh, Baloo, & the Mickey phone.
