Which resort is the closest to Hollywood Studios?

Now that bus goes to Disney Spring from any of the park, I'm thinking of going to DS from HS if we are done with the park but want to go back to HS to watch Star Wars Galactic Spectacular.

If there's close by resort to HS, I was thinking of going there first then take bus to HS.

What would be the best way to get back to HS from DS?

"Best" is a bit subjective in this context. If best means cheapest, go with what Robo suggests. (Someone will provide answer to your follow-up question about time shortly.)

If best means fastest, that's probably a cab. According to the Mears Taxi Estimator website, you're probably looking at a $14-20 cab ride between Disney Springs and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The price changes depending on which side of Disney Springs you use as a departure point.

How long do you think it'll take for me to go to Swan or Boardwalk from DS then to HS?

It would take you about 15 minutes to walk to DHS from the Swan bus stop via the walkway. If you want to take the boat to DHS then they run approximately every 20 minutes and the ride would be about ten minutes from the Swan. Walking is the quickest way to get there.

I don't know how long the bus from DS to the Swan would take. But I do know that it is a popular way to get to DHS from DS.

AoA/POP are 5 minutes from DHS so that is another option when traveling to/from DS.

Thank you. I didn't look at the map of all the resort so I didn't know that. We are staying at Pop so if we buy something at DS, we can drop it off and then ride bus to HS.

CSR is also very close to DHS. You can see the fireworks beautifully over CSR's lake.

No need to stop back at your resort to drop it off..They'll (WDW) will do that for you. Saving you some time.

You can also walk to Saratoga Springs from DS & take a bus to DHS. Very easy, short walk to the Congress Park area of Saratoga.

As stated above, Yacht/Beach, Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin are close, the closest is Boardwalk, from experince it will take about 20 mins from Beach Club, and maybe 10 at most from Boardwalk, these are the only resorts that are within safe walking distance. No way would i dare walk into a park in the grass or next to one of the roadways, some of those people can be a little crazy driving.

Disney will send your package back to your resort for you from any store and you'll just have to pick it up at the resort gift shop. You just can't be checking out the next day. The BW and S/D are the closest both are about the same distance walking, S/D is closer if you plan on riding the boat.
