Which resort is the best?

From my point of view, the best includes location and overall themeing........and price. We've logged 40 trips to WDW and have stayed at a good number of different resorts for various reason. Bottom line: price, will- ing to spend alittle more for convenience. Second: location, we enjoy the MK the most and prefer to stay on the lakes and lagoon around the MK. With that said, we do not like motel style resorts, outside halls, to us its just a motel. So I guess that makes us deluxe snobs, out of all the deluxe resorts we have returned to the Wilderness Lodge the most. convenience, location, theming and price all rolled into one resort.

I just want to add my two cents too.... We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge on our honeymoon and we just adored the place. Everytime we plan to go back we always want to stay there again however our budget never allows it. But 12 years later when we hear a song that reminds us of WL we get sad and wish we could go back.

If you are travelling with young ones I would stay at one of the resorts with the monorails. You can push your stroller right on and then right off when you get to the parks. I just wish they had the monorail to all the parks.

But I think the biggest question you have to decide first is your budget and then go from there.

I think we scared her off
There are just so many things to consider when picking a favorite resort.
Theme, cost, family size, transportation, time of year, food choices, e.t.c.
It really is hard to narrow it down.

I know for me cost and theme were important. For example WL looks incredible.. but our last few family vacations were to an a Lodge in the Adirondacks so we wanted something different.
It is so hard to recommend something without more information.
