Which resort is best for sleep around points?

AKV is starting to price itself out of the SAP category. It still has the benefit of extra years over SSR but not enough to justify the $20 point difference that is happening with the weird increase in AKV resale price.

The saratoga price may start increasing up a little bit again due to the high buy backs below 100 right now

My time value of money calculation has those extra 3 years being worth ~$2.25/point today. Hardly worth the $20 difference for SAP.

If you love animals and/or don’t like SSR I still think AKV is a reasonable SAP option; mathematically it’s 3rd best after SSR and OKW, even at $115ish.

One thing about AKV is you can’t really walk anywhere. You’re calculations helped me a ton in making a choice to quit searching AKV. Many thanks

Yeah, it’s the only DVC where you can truly walk to nothing at all. Even OKW has a walk available to Disney Springs if you really enjoy walking (and it’s daytime).

On the flip side, zoo. We’ll definitely stay there again.

With the parks closed so early now (adn even earlier soon), I'm wondering if interest in SSR will increase. After park closing one could easily go back to SSR and walk to a restaurant there for dinner.
When staying at SSR, under normal circumstances, I go to DS almost daily. In the current situation such proximity would be really great.

Maybe they'll bring back Pleasure Island to handle the nightlife like it did years ago.

This plus the outdoor hallways does make SSR seem very attractive right now.
