Which resort has the best spa?

I'm thinking about treating myself and my dd15 to a massage and/or pedicure (or something equally lovely!) on our next trip. I know the GF has a spa, and isn't there also a new one at the new Saratoga Springs resort? Any recommendations for certain treatments or spas that we might enjoy?

No sooner did I post this than I saw the thread below about the Saratoga Springs Spa closing! Oh well. People mentioned that they liked this place better than the GF spa. May I ask why? Should I avoid the spa at GF? Any other suggestions?

I went to GF and the Disney Institute (Saratoga) last year; I took my sister and her my 11 year old niece (she had the child's pedicure);

I enjoyed both venues, however, I preferred the GF; I like the location of the building being separate from the main building.

I'm going back labor day weekend with DH; I'm going to try the Wyndham Spa (across the street from Disney Marketplace)

A friend of mine went to the Wyndham Spa in August and absolutely loved it.......she said they made her feel like royalty!

I'll let you in on a little secret. Chip & Dale posted this a few weeks ago.

If you are staying at another disney hotel, the spa will send a car/van to pick you up & another one to return you. It'd sure beat waiting for the bus!!

Just ask the spa when you book your treatments.

I've had many massages at the GF Spa. Frankly since about a year or so ago, I've become somewhat disappointed in it. Many of the top aestheticians and technicians have left.

If you are looking for a manicure/pedicure, the former lead nail tech at the GF Spa has started her own mobile manicure/pedicure service. She'll come right to your room at your conveneince, and give you the same treatment you'd get at the spa (including the same products) for a fraction of the cost.
