We are planning a day with no parks, but would like to do a beach day with some watercraft fun.
So........ which delux resort has the best beach and water activities?
Any experiences?

You can't swim at any of the beaches at WDW. You can rent watercraft at the Polynesian, Yacht Club, Wilderness Lodge as well as other resorts. You can only use the pool at the resort you paid for. The pools are for the exclusive use of the resort guests. They do check room IDs and will ask you to leave.

I'm sorry if my post was misinterpreted, but I had no intentions of using someone elses pool.
My question was, which resort has the best place to rent watercraft for a day at the beach/lake.
Does anyone have any expieriences renting watercraft at various resorts, and which one would be the best.
Looking in particular for the "water mice"

I would say any of the deluxe resorts on Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon. That would include the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, or the Wilderness Lodge. Like Lewisc said, the Contemporary also has parasailing. But you don't have to be staying there to be able to do that.

I believe the poly & GF offer sail boat rentals & lessons, and possibly, if they still have them, the water trikes.

I'm a bit nervous about the water & what lurkes within anywhere in FL. (gators) Being so, I'd stick with the water mice to get me out of there faster. :teeth:

We have rented the "water mice" from both Port Orleans Riverside and Downtown Disney. I highly recommend them! They are a blast!!!

I have been reading about water mice. I am assuming they are some type of water craft. Could someone be more specific? Sorry, I am a newbie!

The water mice are really small boats that seat two, but go fairly fast. You do really sit inside of them like a boat, so they really aren't jetskis. I would say the best water activity place is at the Contemporary, where they have the parasailing, waterskiing, and wake boarding, which isn't available anywhere else. However I think for a beach, the Polynesian beach is probably the nicest, if you're just looking to lay out on a nice sandy beach, and the Polynesian does rent the water mice.

Slightly off topic, does anyone know if the Disney Annual passes can be used for any type of discount on something like this?

Disney rentals?
Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre rentals?
I really like the idea of parasailing.

Yes, passholders receive 15% off of boat rentals including the watermice, and 10% off the special watersports like parasailing and waterskiing at the Contemporary.
