So, DH and I are taking our DDs for the 1st time this year to Disney. Staying at Beach Club concierge. Now I'm thinking, hey, I want to plan for 2006 too, same time, week after Thanksgiving. DH doesnt think we need to go 2 years in a row, we always discussed going every other year but I figure once he sees how much fun the girls have in Nov maybe he'll change his mind. And even if not, for 2 years from now, we'll still want to try another hotel. DH and I stayed at YC for our honeymoon, BC will be this year. If we go next year girls will be 5 and 2. I'm thinking either Boardwalk, Contemporary or Poly, all just regular garden/std view rooms, just to try something new. Don't think we'd try WL or AKL. I know they're both beautiful resorts, but they're just not on our list at the moment. So, which would you pick? Thanks!

After 2 stays at CR & 1 at WL, we're headin' over to the Dolphin next trip!

DD will be slightly older, so we thought we'd try an Epcot resort!

I'd go with a Magic Kingdom area resort. The Poly or GF would be pretty cool for your girls, and the quick and easy access to the resort from MK will be nice for you.

We go every other year. My DH didn't really want to go the first time  but we had such a great trip that he changed his mind. Unfortunately we didn't get back for 3 years, that was another great trip. Then next year we took the kids to San Diego and after the trip they said "ok, that was nice but can we go back to Disney next year?" So we did!
We have stayed at BWI twice and Poly once. I think the Poly is worth staying at atleast once, it was a lovely resort and cool to be on the monorail. But now I prefer the Epcot area. Next year we plan to try YC for the SAB pool. BWI was great though for our kids, they really enjoyed it.

Where do you think you're going to spend a majority of your time? It sounds like MK from the ages of your children. Now, a monorail resort might be at the top of your list, but...is there a reason that WL or AKL are out?

You can boat it over to MK from WL, and they have a nice pool at WL. The theming of this resort is second to none I think. AKL has great theming to it as well, and if you're willing to pop for a bit more $$$, you can end up with a Savannah view that I bet your children would love. I mean what's better than waking up to a bunch of wild animals outside your window?

Just a couple of thoughts.

Since you are staying at BC this year, my vote is to stay over in the MK area next year. Both Poly and CR are very fun -- we just stayed at both last year (different trips) with our twin girls. Our girls had the most fun at Chef Mickeys, so staying at CR was very convenient for us. We also took full advantage of the walkway between CR and MK (about a 10 minute walk). We also had a great stay at Poly the next trip -- we enjoyed O'Hanas very much. I don't think you would be disappointed with either resort.

We stayed at the Poly last year and LOVED it. We especially liked the monorail and go visit the other monrail hotels quickly for a meal or just a stroll round the grounds. We often did a monorail loop ride after dinner, just to see all the pretty lights. :wave2:
