Sorry, I know this question has been asked several times, but which resorts will accomodate 5 people to 1 room. No DVC.

Contemporary resort and the cabins at fort wilderness... those are the only two that allow it.

Also, Alligator Bayou section of POR. They have rooms with two double beds and a trundle bed. Reports are the trundle bed is not suitable for adults.

Contemporary
Polynesian
Boardwalk
Beach Club
Yacht Club
Grand Floridian
JS at Coronado Springs
JS at Wilderness Lodge
Family Suite at All-Star Music
Fort Wilderness Cabins
Port Orleans Riverside - Alligator Bayou Section

I seen others who are parties of 5 post that they take an areo bed and blow it up for the extra person. It is easy to blow up and let the air out when not in use.

We have stayed at the Poly and CR-- they have two beds and a daybed. The daybeds "convert" to a flat bed (futon-style) and are pretty comfy, according to my kids. They take turns sleeping in it.

Choices are definitely limited when you have five to a family-- not just at WDW but everywhere. We are always having to pull up a chair at the end of restaurant booths.

My daughter is at WDW right now with my sister & her family (mom & dad + w teenage sons). They are staying at Yacht Club and my kiddo is sleeping on the day bed (which is fine with her because hey, she's at Disney!)

They were scheduled to stay at a mod but when they decided to take my daughter and asked if they could put a cot or blow up mattress, they CMs told them no that it was against fire code.

The Family Suites start at $184 a night duing value season.
Most of the Disney resorts (excluding DVC) charge extra for more than 2 adults in a room.
The Family Suites do not charge extra for extra adults.
1-6 adults can stay in the Family Suites for the same et price.
The Family Suites have discounts available also so if you keep your eyes open you just may snag a great deal.

Family Suite info:

DH and I stayed in a Family Suite at All Star Music ( a value resort) in Sept. of 2006.

We really enjoyed the Queen size bed, the kitchenette with the microwave, having a sofa and cushioned chair to sit on and relax after a day at the parks before retiring for the evening.

I thought the pullouts very comfortable.

They are designed so the back cushion and seat cushion of the pullout support the pullout. There is no metal bar to hurt the sleepers back.

Info thread--Pullouts in Family Suites at ASMU with photos of how the pullout is supported.

Here is the layout of the Family Suites:

ASMusic_FamSuite_layout.jpg

They:

-Sleep up to 6 (plus one child under age 3 in a Pak-n-Play crib)
-Studio amenities and separate sleeping areas giving more privacy than a standard room.
-Queen bed, full-size pullout sofa, convertible ottoman & chair sleepers
The pullout chair and large ottoman each pull out into standard size twin beds.
(4 separate sleepers)
-Private master bedroom and family room have 27” flat CRT TV and high speed Internet access.
-Kitchenette with microwave, small refrigerator (4.3 cu. ft) and coffee pot
-Two-full bathrooms

Here is my review of the Suites:

The Dolphin can accomidate 5 people. We brought a twin size air bed and it worked out great for us.

We had 5 in our room at the Poly. We had the 17 year old sleep on the day bed. The only thing that could have made it better would be 2 sinks. Our room only had 1.

I agree. It is ubfortunate that the Poly only has 1 sink and that the sink area is located inside the bathroom area instead of outside like most of the other resorts.

The WL Deluxe rooms will also accommodate five.

We are a family of 5 and find the rooms at the Poly to be a very comfortable fit. And dd's are older. Do have to agree with the sink comment though. Would be great to have 2.
