Which resort do your KIDS like best?

I'm planning on taking my 6 year old cousin down to WDW in November of next year. While I would love to stay at the contemporary or Poly I want this vacation to be all about my cuz. Which resorts are favorites of your kids? Thanks!!!

I cant really say my 2 yo has a preference, but my almost 6 year old really enjoys both ASMO & the Poly. Highlights at ASMO for him are the Toy Story area, the Mighty Ducks pool(and buildings), the food court is great for picky eaters like him, and he also loves the arcade. At the Poly, he got very excited over the the day bed with all the pillows(???), the volcano pool, the beach, the monorail, and the ducks coming up to our patio.
Same DS has stayed at POR and to him , that was just a hotel, nothing special, but the other 2 places have really wowed him(and me too!)

My DD has liked something about every resort in which we have stayed.

At WL, she liked the pool and hottubs, as well as the guyser. The Teepees in the main lobby were a big hit, as well.

At CBR, she liked watching the little bunnies hopping around the grounds. She also liked the pool, with the cannon shooting water and the playgrounds on the beach,

At the Courtyard Marriott she liked the glass elevator in the lobby, as well as the Tipsy Parrott character in the main lobby during the manager's afternoon parties.

We are staying at PO-FQ and had the opportunity to visit this past trip, and DD is already excited about the serpent slide.

No matter where you stay, there will be something that your child will enjoy... so pick out the resort YOU would like to stay at best, and go with that. If you are happy, your kids will be too!

We've stayed at the Music & Movies,but were thinking of trying POFQ next trip.The kids heard about it and nixed that idea quick!They said they wanted to stay in a "Disney" hotel.I guess that means the big icons etc....Anyway,that's my kids opinion.

We've stayed at Shades of Green, Dixie Landings (PO-Riverside), Coronado Springs, Polynesian, Swan and Dolphin.

My 11 and 12 year old sons tell me the Dolphin has been their favorite!

So far, my boys (6 and 8) liked the Beach Club the best, because of SAB.

The CR wins with my boys (6 and 3) because it's where the monorail sleeps. But they both loved Ole Man Island at POR. They loved the slide. They live the CR slide too but it's a bit rough for the younger one.

They also like All Star Movies because of the big toy story exhibit and the older one is a huge Herbie the Love Bug fan.

We have stayed at Poly and BWI, my kids had a great time at both resorts. They say they like BWI better but I'm sure it is because we were just there and they don't remember the Poly that well because they were young (3 and 6). You really can't go wrong with any of the Deluxes IMO.

AKL all the way.....When she was a 5 yo we were in the MK and she asked to go back to the room to watch more animals (We had an outstanding veiw, with animals the whole time) So since then AKL is her favorite, We stayed at GF last time and the whole family wanted to be at AKL.

My kids vote for ASMO or ASSp. They love the big icons especially the Toy Story buildings. The All Stars really appeal to the kids senses and you don't have to break the bank to make them happy!!!

My 7yr dd surprised me by saying she like the BWV's the best
My 4yr ds likes the Buzz hotel and the Volcano pool hotel the best

My sons are 13 and 15 and LOVE the Dolphin!!!

My son (now 16) has been going since he was 10. His favorites have not changed in all those years, even though we have stayed at or visited every resort at WDW.

#2 Poly
#3 Contemporary

My two DS love the BWV because there is so much to do. The Boardwalk is such an exciting place especially at night. There are carnival games to play, lots of food, and best of all - the entertainers. We saw jugglers, fire eaters, singers, and a traveling piano player. Also the pool slide is great. We just got back from POFQ and liked it a lot, but BWV will always be "the favorite".

I asked my 3 kids and here are their replies:

DS 16 - HIFS for amenities, WL for atmosphere

DS 13 - BWV

DD 11 - GF!

We've stayed at AKL, ASSp, BWV, GF, ASMu, HIFS, BC, & WL so far. Next week we'll be at POFQ & POR and in December we'll be at the Poly. We won't rest until we've stayed at every resort! LOL

We've stayed at every resort except GF and our kids like the Polynesian the best. DD, age 11 and DS, age 8.

They really like the new pool, especially the slide. DS likes having the monorail at the resort. DD likes watching the EWP from the beach or our room - depending on where we stay.

Their second choice would be Beach Club, mainly because of SAB.

My son's favorite is the Poly and my daughter's AKL. They both really love the Swan also. My son is 9 and my daughter is 6.

BCV hands down. SAB, proximity to parks and Boardwalk. So glad we have it as our home property
