Which resort decorations?

Which of the resorts would you recommend to visit for their Christmas decorations???? We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge in December and was wanting to visit some of the others just to see the decorations.

Well, in my opinion you are staying at the best one.

But GF is a great one. I've heard AKL is beautiful, along with the Yacht/Beach Club.

All of them are beautiful, but it's hard to beat GF and WL.

You're at the best one. AK is pretty. GF is pretty, too.

I do not like the Beach Club at Christmas (though it is my favorite the rest of the year!) The Beach Club is set up with light, breezy, pastel-y colors that just do not mix with the red and green of Christmas, IMHO.

We like the Boardwalk. The lobby looks great & don't miss the tree & plants out on the green in back of the surrey rentals. The Dolphin lobby & GF are impressive, too.

We stayed at WL during Christmas thre times, it is beautiful, don't forget to ask if they have anything special going on. One time we saw carolers. Very nice.

Also you can take a monorail trip to visit the Monorail resorts. Just hop on the boat to the Contemporary and start there.

We also went over to the Epcot resorts, they are very nice too. We went to Epcot, saw the resorts, lunched at ESPN, ended up at the Boardwalk, took a bus from Boardwalk to MK, then the boat back to WL. It was along day.

The mods are nice, but the deluxes are great.

We love the Boardwalk Lobby at Christmas and the lawn is also beautiful!

Doesn't one of the resorts put up a... ok its either a carousel or a gingerbread house?

The gingerbread house is at the Grand Flo, and the carousel is at the Beach Club.

The GF, WL and AKL of the delux hotels have the best decorations. (I haven't seen BWI yet but, cince that's where I'm staying I'm hoping they are great as mentioned). The only mod worth seeing is CSR -- just as good as WL IMHO.

Buzz2001-Thanks for the pics of CSR. We've stayed there, but never at Christmas. The decorations are really pretty.

Also--saw the pics of the gingerbread house and carousel. Are these made of chocolate? My DDs love to watch Food Network when they show those competitions of chocolate sculptures. So I think they would really get a kick out of these

The carousel is made of out of chocolate and is very cool! At the BW, they have a rollar coaster/park scene made from chocolate.

The gingerbread house is made from gingerbread with lots of chocolate decorations. There is a little store inside where you can buy gingerbread.
