We are Disney bound in December with our 6 DS and 3 DS. I currently have 8TS and on 6 credits. Please help me decide which to drop.

Le Cellier (have done it last two years and is our favorite)
Crystal Palace
Tusker House Safari Breakfast
1900 Park Fare (will boys likes this?)
Boma
Ohana (character breakfast)
Cape May Care
Whispering Canyon Cafe

Wow, that's tough! You have some good ones! I think I would drop 1900 Park Fare (I don't think my DS3 would like it) and Whispering Canyon - that restaurant feels very chaotic to me.

I would probably dump the Park Fare ressie. I like all your other picks and I think the kids will like them too!

Would drop Boma in a heart beat.

We didn't care for the food, it was ok, but everything had sweet spices like cinnamon in it. Meat, potatoes, even the soups were sweet. Felt like I was eating a holiday dessert for dinner. LOL

So I would not go there again.

So, I'm guessing you need to cut 2...
These are great choices...

I guess I'd probably cut Cape May because I've read some terrible reviews and Boma since some of the foods are unusual.

My boys wouldn't dare go to 1900PF now, but back when they were 4 and 6 they LOVED it!!! So, I say - do it now while you still can!!! :thumbsup2

Le Cellier - keep because its so hard to get.
Crystal Palace keep -great food and character interaction
Tusker House Safari Breakfast
1900 Park Fare (will boys likes this?) Drop- great characters and nice food but not so much for little boys
Boma we didnt end up keeping our reservation to this- went to Garden Grill because DD loved characters more than we expected
Ohana (character breakfast) Keep LOVED our dinner here best!!! soo tasty
Cape May Care didnt go to this- I would say drop
Whispering Canyon Cafe keep - sounds good for little boys[/QUOTE]

So drop Park Fare and Cape May.

The other ones you have a good mix of atmosphere and good food so sounds like a great line up!!

Le Cellier (have done it last two years and is our favorite) - We think it's gone way downill, but if you love it, then you should keep it

Crystal Palace -Great characters, food and service

Tusker House Safari Breakfast - Only place to eat with Daisy, but the food is average, and the service is spotty

1900 Park Fare (will boys likes this?) - BREAKFAST Pooh characters, Mad Hatter, Alice & Mary Poppins are all great characters, but it's a bit pricey, and it also has similar characters to Crystal Palace DINNER Cindy, Steps and Prince are good characters, but again, it's pricey, and the steps can get a bit loud and crazy, and not all kids like this

Boma - Don't care for it as we always have experienced subpar service and disorganization, food is also a bit different and unique

Ohana (character breakfast) -Worst buffet on property, horribly long meal, subpar service and food

Cape May Cafe - One of our favs, as it's always quiet, fresh and hot food, and wonderful characters for breakfast - can't eat there for dinner as it's seafood, so not sure about that (no characters at dinner)

Whispering Canyon Cafe - It's ok, and nothing special

I would say dump Whispering Canyon, 'Ohana, Boma or 1900 PF, Tiger

::yes:: Completely agree. Is Cape May for breakfast or dinner? If breakfast than definitely keep it. If dinner, I would cancel. It just isn't as special or unique as your other choices.

If the cape may adr is for breakfast, then I would cancel 1900.

I would cancel 1900 Park Fare. It's Cinderella, Prince Charming, the step mother and the step sisters.

Le Cellier (have done it last two years and is our favorite)...Most definitely KEEP....since it is one of your faves, you know you'll be happy here :)
Crystal Palace....one of our family faves so I say KEEP this as well
Tusker House Safari Breakfast....may be in the minority here but I wouldn't do this one again. We felt so rushed at this character breakfast and the food was so-so
1900 Park Fare (will boys likes this?).....I'm watching everyone's response on this one....we have 3 boys and 1 little girl and have this scheduled for our Nov. trip. Have been wondering whether to keep it or change it. We did the castle on our last trip for lunch and loved it but thought we'd do something different this time. Still want to have a "princess" experience for our little girl and I've heard the ugly step-sisters are pretty funny.
Boma....haven't eaten here because I don't think our family will like it.
Ohana (character breakfast).......again watching responses on this one...we have breakfast scheduled here...it is our first time.
Cape May Care....can't say as we have never eaten here.
Whispering Canyon Cafe.....we went here the last time but wouldn't rush back. Food was just ok and while we were wanting the chaotic experience for our son's bday we got stuck in a back corner all by ourselves and missed most of the action. We were a little disappointed.

I would only choose one to drop. What if one day you are for some reason running terribly late and can't make one? Or someone is not feeling well and you really don't feel like shlepping over to a restaurant? Or you are having such a fantastic time you wish you didn't have to leave to make your adr?

If you have one extra adr you don't have to worry about losing a credit in any of the above situations. You can just call and cancel a bit before and still have another one to replace it. If you get near the end of the week and none of these have applied, choose one left to cancel. I don't think any 1 restaurant is worth fretting over too much.

I would also drop 1900 Park Fare. I don't like the decor, and the food was only so-so.

And we didn't like 'Ohana's breakfast. But it has Stitch, so your boys will probably like that.

I've grown a little unhappy with Le Cellier lately, but like others said, those reservations are hard to get.

I can't comment on the others as I have never eaten there.

Based on our families experience we would drop Whispering Canyon and Ohana. We found the food at both to be mediocre at best. I know for Ohana we are in the minority but we thought the quality of the food was awful. The food at 1900 was also average but my kids, including my DS7 at the time loved the characters. HTH

1900 PF for sure...the food was Nastttty, borderline inedible when we went:sick:

I would keep Crystal Palace, LeCellier, Tusker for SURE, Boma....the last two ??? or pay oop for one?

And the characters were pretty snobby at PF. I didn't care for the attitudes of the entire staff I met there to tell you the truth. A very big let down for my girls, though Cinderella was very nice there...

we thoroughly enjoyed Park Fare dinner...a couple of foods on buffet we didn't like, but most was good, to very good. Characters were great. But not sure how a couple of little boys would like them...except, the stepsisters are always looking for a "man" and they tend to really, really flirt with the little boys, so might be great fun for your boys.

I'd drop 'Ohana breakfast, just not worth it IMO. And Boma dinner...agree with the poster who referred to the sweet seasonings over-done on the meats & veggies. Either that or burn-your-tongue-cinnamon-red-hot. Or totally tasteless mush.

We have done Park Fare for both breakfast and dinner and was thoroughly disappointed in both meals. My recommendation is to drop that one for sure.

We also did Boma for breakfast and felt it was just ok. That would be the second one I would drop if it were up to me.

As a side note, we felt the Ohana Breakfast food was just ok but the character interaction was amazing. It is one of my son's (5yo) favorite meals on property.

WE JUST got back and I would totally suggesting keeping Tusker House (AMAZING food and great character interaction!) and the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at Ohana - the food is pretty decent, but the bread is amazing and it is a great restaurant -- and it is Lilo and Stitch! Good character interaction and the place is fun - they give everyone leis! :thumbsup2

I would drop Boma, Cape May and 1900 Park Fare (for girls), and add Chef Mickeys for the boys. :thumbsup2

On a side note, I would also drop Whispering Canyon & add Kona Cafe. We loved it. It was better than Le Cellier to all nine if us. We all LOVED it!!
