We want to try to do a Princess meal during our October trip. DD keeps saying she's going to eat with the Princesses :)

Which is our best bet for picky 2 year old twins? One boy, one girl, not that it really matters at age 2 :)

Thanks!

We ate at Akershus for breakfast. Both my kids are picky but one likes eggs and the other fruit so it worked out well. The princess interaction was great. My DS got a kiss form one of them and grinned the whole morning! My DD got hugs and the princesses took their time and talked to her too.

Another vote for Akershus. (Although I loooove the cream cheese french toast at CRT).

You get more interaction (but no Cinderella). You have to do CRT or 1900PF dinner to get her. Snow White takes cindy's "princess" spot at Akershus.

Answering your main question, I think there is more to choose from for a picky 2 y/o's. And another plus is if you're on the DDP, Akershus is only 1 credit while CRT is 2.

I would do breakfast at either CRT or Akershus. Breakfast is pretty safe - fruit, eggs, potatoes, etc.

We had lunch at Akershus and Cindy was there. :confused

I recommend Akershus as well, simply because of the appetizer buffet. If the buffet is not offered at breakfast, then I definitely recommend lunch. The buffet has some bread, fruit, cheese, lunch meats. Since your two year olds have to share from your plate, unless you pay OOP to order a meal for them (am I right?), the buffet at Akershus would be a big help.

Scheduled properly, an early lunch would also make for a nice air conditioned break after a morning's worth of walking.

I have done breakfast at CRT and lunch at Akershus and would say either would be fine. They bring the little ones (under 3) french toast sticks at the castle, which my 1 year old liked and then they can eat the potatoes or whatever else they bring the adults.

Lunch was great and we also saw Cinderella there, but as a PP poster said they will have to eat off your plate--you order from the menu at lunhc of course, no buffet--unless they just want fruits and cheese off the appetizer buffet.

I was speaking about Akershus for breakfast. I've never had lunch at Akershus because the lunch entree menu that I found at AllEars wasn't appealing at all me

But I did find something from AllEars that notes she may be there.

Akershus Breakfast:
"Characters will appear on a rotating schedule, that is, there is no guarantee which characters will be appearing on any given day.

"Princesses" who MAY appear include:Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Mulan, and Mary Poppins

Your best bet for seeing Cinderella is at Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast held each morning Magic Kingdom or Cinderella's Gala Feast each evening at the Grand Floridian"

Akershus Lunch:
"Characters will appear on a rotating schedule, that is, there is no guarantee which characters will be appearing on any given day.

Disney Princesses, Leading Ladies and Friends who may appear include: Ariel (in ballgown), Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Mulan, or Mary Poppins. Cinderella makes occasional appearances."

So if you saw her at lunch, it sounds likes you got lucky. For a sure thing, its CRT or 1900PF Dinner.

See above. ;)

We took my girls to CRT when they were 17 months old and again at 2 1/2 years old for breakfast. They loved it.
We also did Akershus for breakfast when they were 3. One of my girls enjoyed it, one didn't and kept on asking when we were eating at the castle.

We did Akershus for lunch in Feb (BTW, Cinderella was there) and one of the kids in our party was a 2 y.o. -- he ate off the buffet and they brought him a drink. It worked out great (and all of the other kids and the adults loved their meals -- definitely the best we had in WDW, but we were all ready for something different by that point in our vacation)

The only princess guaranteed at CRT or Akershus is Cindy at CRT. That said, there are "regulars" but they can all change at any given meal.

I have always seen Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine and Belle (in blue) at CRT, but many others have posted seeing others.

Akershus tends to change more. Belle is usually the one taking pictures out front, but even that changes occasionally. Ariel is often inside in her green, but that is no sure thing. The others change around quite a bit. On our last trip in December we saw Cinderella, Jasmine, Alice and Ariel.

I think they would love either. But be sure to do the castle at least once while they are little!

1900 - We've taken our DD (now 7 and 8) to all the princess meals and I would lean towards 1900 for dinner. I think the food selection is better and you can relax at the end of the day and not worry about missing park time.

CRT - have to do it at least once, you are dining in the castle! I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and never feel the food is that great. You are paying for eating in the castle, the picture and having access to cinderella. Note - Prince Charming is usually not here. We usually see Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and a couple others (Fairy God Mother, Mary Poppins)

Akershus - I agree you get great character interaction here but the food is just not that good. A bonus is Ariel is usually here so if you do not want to wait in MK to see here - this is worth the price in gold.

It all depends on the princess your DD likes. Have fun!
