Which princess at CRT/Aker recently?

I'm trying to decide if two princess meals is overkill. We want to do CRT for sure. Not sure about Aker....a little concerned about the food there since we are not big seafood eaters.

Recently is CRT just Cinderella or are there the others too? We are only doing Epcot one day so if Aker has pretty much the same characters as CRT we might do Coral Reef since my girls love aquariums. I only want to do one table service a day since I really think that will be enough for them.

No, I don't think that two princess meals is overkill, but many will say it is. You will get a similar experience at both. We've done CRT twice and Akershus three times. We did both for our first two trips and only did Akershus for our third. My girls actually like Akershus better. ???? It has a similar castle-like feel, same princesses, it only costs 1 TS credit vs. 2 at CRT, and the food is waaaay better. You needn't be nervous about seafood dishes there, because they offer a wide variety of dishes. The menu doesn't concentrate on seafood items. You'll find more seafood/fish selections at Coral Reef than at Akershus.
Another option if you're dead set on doing CRT and don't want to double up the princess meal at Akershus, is to do CRT and 1900 Park Fare for dinner. It has Cinderella, Prince, stepmother, and stepsisters. It's food is very tasty and the character experience is absolutely the BEST! The stepsisters are a riot!

I agree with the pp that doing both is not ovekill. We did both on our girls' first trip b/c I just couldn't decide. When it came to book their 2nd trip...I booked Akershus first, but wound up adding CRT too.

I think the princess interaction is pretty comparable between the two. With CRT- Cindy is the princess downstairs for photos...with Akershus- it's usually yellow dress Belle doing the photos (although, this can change). Inside the respective dining rooms- we've seen everyone from blue dress Belle (CRT), Jasmine (1x @ CRT), Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, and Cinderella was there for both of our Akershus visits.

As far as food and atmosphere goes...while I found the castle to be MAGICAL that first time, we had a pretty miserable experience the 2nd time - so, if we do either one for this upcoming trip- it will probably be Akershus. My girls also LOVE the cold appetizer buffet at Akershus.

Two princess meals is definitely not overkill, especially if you have little ones that love them (we have DDs who are 10 and 8 that still want to see them ). We always do CRT dinner and Akershus breakfast on our vacations. With that said, the last time we were in Disney was in January and at CRT Cinderella was downstairs taking pictures as you first walked in the door, then upstairs was Belle in her blue dress, SB, SW, and Ariel. At Akershus breakfast we saw Belle in her yellow dress taking pictures as you first walked in the door, then at our table was Ariel, SB, SW, and Cinderella. So I guess yes they are the same characters except the ones that greet you at the door. However, the two restaurants are two different experiences. Do remember that the princesses, like any other character at character meals, are subject to change at anytime...Have fun .
