Looking for a dinner for our last day. We are spending the day at MK from rope drop to at least the 3PM parade, which is longer than our usual rope drop to noonish mornings. The kids will be 8 and 4 and meltdowns could happen.

I had originally planned to book an Akershus dinner and spend the evening in Epcot, but now I'm worried we'll be too tired. So I'm looking at either an early dinner at 1900 Park Fare or try to snag an early reservation at CRT which would give us the option to eat dinner nearby and not travel to another park.

We've done CRT breakfast before and liked it. I'd book CRT again if it wasn't for the nagging in the back of my mind telling me to try something new. We haven't done Akershus or 1900 Park Fare.

Keep in mind the day in question is a MVMCP day so MK closes at 7.

So in the end what sounds like the best option? A later dinner at Akershus and spending the evening at Epcot, or an early dinner at either 1900 Park Fare or CRT and having the last night as a resort/open options night?

Hopefully that all made sense!

I've done all 3 of them. They are all great. I haven't done any of them with my DD yet. This year, we are doing early dinner before 1900 before the Halloween party and breakfast at Akershus. Next July, we are going to try (fingers crossed and pixie dust) to get CRT lunch for my DD's 3rd birthday.

I will say the interaction with Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters at 1900 was fantastic!

I have only done Akershus and 1900 PF. We found 1900 to be very loud and packed with people, so the characters did not stay long at our table at all. It was very rushed. I personally wouldn't want to end my vacation with it. Akershus - we had great princess interaction, but my kids didn't like the food and hardly ate anything. Obviously, this was just my experience. If you really liked CRT, I say do it! :)

I've done all 3 as well. I LOVE 1900 Park Fare. The step sisters are a hoot, and Cinderella and the Prince are very gracious and charming. Plus, for a buffet, the food is decent. And, it's a short monorail ride away,...

We have done 1900 park fare. The food is very kid-friendly , and we had great interactions with the characters.

We had trouble deciding between CRT and Askershus for our upcoming trip, but ultimately decided on CRT because I don't think DDwill eat anything at askershus.

Leaning toward 1900 Park Fare at the moment. That might change 1000x between now and 180 days out.

We like them all but 1900 Park Fare has fantastic character interaction. The stepsisters / stepmother will have you in stitches. Request a main dining room table as there is more to see if you are sitting in there. Also, the strawberry soup is delicious:-)
Our second choice would be Akershus because you will generally get to see so many princesses at one ADR.

I'd say 1900 Park Fare... My 4 year olds LOVED it! Easy to get to from MK! That being said, we do LOVE Akershus and Epcot, but I would avoid it if you think you would be too tired.

Have fun!

We've done them all. DD would say 1900 Park for dinner is her favorite. The food options were things she would eat and the character interaction was fantastic.
Akershus we did at breakfast because DD would not touch anything on the lunch or dinner menu.
CRT was just ok for us.

We went with Akershus but for a breakfast (err brunch) option to ensure the kiddos would have something to eat. You can't go wrong with breakfast foods!

We've done all 3 with my 4 year old and we all preferred the food and interaction at CRT. Akershus would be 2nd for me. I wasn't a fan of 1900 but maybe we just caught it on a bad night. Food was good but it was very loud and crowded. Felt really hectic to me. I know many on here love it though!

We've done all three and I would tentatively say 1900 Park Fare. You won't have to navigate through the park and as much as it's raved about, I wasn't overly crazy about the menu at Akershus (I was excited about it when I saw the options, but the actual meal was a disappointment).

We've had our best character experience at CRT (but you've eaten there) and worst character experiences at 1900 and Akershus, but that comes down to who is playing the characters and were isolated incidents. At Akershus, Belle was phenomenal at the door (I was pregnant and she doted on my boys and told me I couldn't get more perfect little princes than the two I have, so she hoped a little princess was in my future). It started off on a good note, but careened downhill. I had them in their "Future Prince Charming" shirts and I don't know if it was because we didn't have a little girl at the table, but we were almost an inconvenience to the princesses inside. They stopped for pictures and moved on.

Same trip at 1900, we had a pair of CMs (current or former, I don't know) sitting next to us and they monopolized all the characters for several minutes because they clearly all knew each other - but the characters were making no attempt to move along - they each spent about five minutes at our neighbors' table. By the time they got to our table, they were running behind, so they whizzed through. The Prince took some time with the boys and the stepsisters did mention their shirts (I had them wear the same shirts again to see if we got a better reaction), but it was nothing memorable. Lady Tremaine was a huge disappointment after hearing so many stories of how amazing she is - she barely paused for a picture. It was also our anniversary (we had the buttons on) and in the past, characters have usually made a big deal over the fact, but not a single one said a word.

Like I said, isolated incidents and I'm aware of that. I'm going to try both meals again, but it will be on the trip where I take just my daughter - it will be interesting to compare the trip with one girl vs. the family trip.
