I am contemplating eliminating one of the three "premiere" dining reservations that we currently have. I am at a loss over WHICH one we could/should skip. I would really appreciate the groups' feedback on this one.

Thanks in Advance

Who is going? If you have children then I'd eliminate Narcoosee's. AP is good with kids, and Jiko has the added benefit of being at AKL.

If you're not adventurous eaters, then the menu at Jiko may be limiting and I'd eliminate that one.

I would eliminate Narcoossee's... though the food is very good, I'd opt for a drink on the porch during the fireworks instead. Jiko is the best (or was the best before Chef Grey left), though I doubt it's changed. To me, they have the best service staff of anywhere - very versed on all aspects of the menu and truly there to give you an experiece. Artist Point is very, very good as well. The wine list is wonderful and dominated by some lovely obscure Washington and Oregon wines... The service staff is also very good, but maybe not quite as good as Jiko. Narcoossee's just doesn't feel that special to me. It's loud, very expensive, and though the food is great, it don't think it's as creative as the other two. Again, have a cocktail there and move on...

Yep.. what he said..

I eat at alot of good restaurants, and I have to say that Artist Point is one of my favorite restaurants I've ever eaten at (even outside of Disney). The food there is different and extremely tasty. I've never been to the other two, so I can't give much of an opinion...... but I will say that it's one you shouldn't miss.

Artist point is a great place for a quiet, fancy meal. It's away from everything at the Wilderness Lodge, which makes it more peaceful. The staff is EXCELLENT. When they found out I had just got engaged the night prior at Epcot, they brought out a magical moment certificate for us. :-)

Well there you go, personal preferences are so personal. I disliked Artist Point when I went several years ago - liked the ambiance, but not the food. I absolutely love Narcoosees - like the noise and the ambiance and the food and the service which has always been excellent. And I like to time it so we watch the fireworks outside between our entrees and our desserts with a nice cocktail. And Jiko is one of my especially great favorites..... Though I have to say that this trip, taking my two foodie DS and DDIL I changed my Nrcoosee ADR to California Grill - they are going to go berserk over the CG!

OT - But if Wishes would be at 10 - what time would you want your ADR so that you could time things as you like?

Even though I know most people on the Dis rave about Jiko that is the one that we eliminated for our next trip. Jiko is a very nice restaurant and had excellent service but the food just did not appeal to us.

I would forego Narcoossee's as I still do not know anyone who has eaten here that was completely satisfied. We ate at Jiko last month and I found it to be very good but others in our party did not as the menu is very different and had tastes and flavors that did not suit them. Artist's Point is a definite keeper.

So I would say no to Narcoossee's but if you find the menu at Jiko's challenging to find something that looks good, then I would skip it as Narcoossee's has much more standard fare.
