Which Preferred Loop for 40' MH, Toad, Tent & 4 Slides?

I snapped this photo of the sites on the outside of the 100 loop this past Saturday:

You can see that a camper has his RV, utility trailer, and a tent on his site.

The outside sites on the 100 loop in this area are 122, 123, 124, 126 and 127. I think my photo is of 124. The only problem I foresee with you getting one of these sites is that they seem to always be occupied by long term campers (which tells you that these are nice sites). Site 127 has had the same people in it since January!

I also think all of the outside sites on 200 are pretty deep, which would give you room for your proposed set-up.

I suggest that when you fax your request, you be very specific about what you want to set-up on your site, and ask for the best site to accommodate you on the preferred loops. I would not limit myself to the 300 loop.

Good luck!

I've let them know everything. Oh, and I'll have a rental golf cart, too, since the MIL has trouble with lots of walking.:scared1:

The firewall at work blocks Photobucket and other picture hosting sites.

Wow! You are cramming a lot of stuff onto your site! I would love to hear how this works out for you, so please be sure to give us a report when you get back!

I'm sure they will do their best to fulfill your request.

If your dog barks at night, you should be told to take the dog inside.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I have 2 dogs and am the least tolerant person on the planet when it comes to barking - by my dogs or anyone else's.

I have to say in the 12+ weeks total we've spent at FW in the last several years (all but 2 weeks in the 300 loop) we've only had an issue with dogs barking at FW at night once. Dec'07 we were in 300 and our neighbors in a popup crated their 2 dogs outside - both when they were gone during the day (already against the rules), and at night. The dogs started howling a couple of nights - I'm sure some rabbit or armadillo (or otter) was going by. :scared:

IMO and according to the rules, NO dog at FW should be left outside unattended at any time - day or night. And being in the camper sleeping while your dog is outside tied/crated is still "unattended."

Totally stinks that a very small number of bad apples ruin it for everyone. :sad2:

OK, off my soap box. Here's hoping you are surrounded by lovely, considerate, quiet neighbors (dogs or not) and have a fantastic trip! :upsidedow
