Hi All!

We (me, DH, DD4 and DD 20 months) arrive on the 31st (1st time at Poly!)for a Garden view room. I'm unsure of what buildings are under rehab and what building (or floor) is best for us. I'm hoping we'll be able to swim and would love to be somewhat central to the GCH, pools and boat launch. Thanks!!

:D

Have you checked out Tikiman's Polynesian web site? It has lots of terrific info on various buildings, rehab schedules, proximity to the monorail/TTC, etc. His site is: http://www.tikiman2001.homestead.com/

I am sure others here can give you their favorite locations as well.

Hope you have a terrific time; when you get back, let us know what building you were in and how you liked your stay!

Wampy2,
This is my family's favorite resort.:bounce: :Pinkbounc We love the Tahiti building!! If the Tahiti is not available, we opt for the Rapa Nui building, because these are the newest buildings and the rooms are slightly larger here. The bathrooms are also slightly larger (double vanities). As the other poster stated, go to Tikiman's website, it is awesome!::MickeyMo :jester:

We stayed in samoa room 1602 in Aug. Volcano pool view, 1st floor. It was great. The quiet side pool view would be good too. Close to GCH for sure. Just curious if you plan to use alot of time with the boat transp. (You said you wanted to be close to boat launch). Just thinking with the little one, are you lugging the stroller etc. Also if coming back late at night it could get pretty chilly on the boat. it is not enclosed.

Wampy2,
Definitely check out Tikiman's site- We stayed there in 02'
in the Samoa bldg., loved it! 1st floor facing the volcano pool-close to everything-that bldg. has also been updated as of 03'.:wave2: :wave2:

Our favorite is the Tokelau building. It's about halfway between the GCH and the TTC (for the Epcot Monorail). If you get a room near the end closest to the Lagoon, you might have a water view for the price of a Garden view. Also it's right next to the quiet pool. It's also very close to the new bus stop for AK & DS buses. I agree with everyone else, go to Tikiman's site, I visit all the time just to get a Poly fix.

I'm sure you'll love any room you get there!

It sounds as if there are positives with all the buildings. If you do have a preference do you just mention it when booking the reservation or contact the poly separately by letter, fax etc?
