Which pizza delivery to BWV?

Hi Everyone,

I was thinking that for one night of our upcoming stay at the BWV, we would have pizza delivered. I did a search on the boards and came up with both Flippers and Giordanos. Both places have multiple locations.

Which specific location should I order from to have delivered to BWV?

Is it convenient to have pizza delivered from either of these places (or is it a pain in the you know what...)?

Any other suggestions, like how far in advance to order, any discounts/coupons (restaurant.com certificate for delivery?), recommendations, etc.?

We ordered from Flipper's when we were at OKW in early December. The delivery was quick, and the food was very good. If you go to LOCATIONS on their website http://www.flipperspizzeria.com/Home/tabid/37/Default.aspx it indicates which store serves Disney.

Flippers, hands down! We've already reserved Friday night before our cruise for delicious pizza!!

We get Giordanos. It is traditional Chicago deep dish. We LOVE thier pizza and always look forward to pizza delivery from there during our trips. With that being said, we haven't tried Flippers but have heard alot of good things.

I'm not sure which location will deliver to BMV. We haven't had an issue with pizza delivery in the past but I must say we have never actually been involved with the delivery. We often meet my family at WDW and when we arrive on the first night, they will already have the pizza.

This past August/September when I stayed at the BWI and was in the lobby someone was getting a Pizza delivered from Dominos and meet the delivery driver in the lobby, which is what all guests are supposed to do when they order Pizza from offsite locations. So that's something to remember when doing this.

Also since you are on the topic of Pizza have you thought about taking one out from the Boardwalk Pizza Window? I have taken out from there multiple times and found it to be very good.

Such a good idea in which I wish I thought of on our last trip. WDW does food really well, but for some reason, I'm not feelin' the pizza. Glad u asked this for our next trip.

I thought about the "pizza window", but I have read good and bad things about. Also, if we have pizza delivered we can get additional food as well like salad and pasta (and it will probably still be cheaper than the window).

We used to live in Chicago, so I know Giordanos well, but I have heard nothing but good things about Flippers. I guess it will be what we feel like when we get there.

We ordered salad with our Flipper's pizza. It was also very good. We used to live in suburban Chicago as well, and frequently also get carry out Uno's pizza, too.

We had a pizza party at the pool bar in Oct. with pizza from Flippers. It was great pizza at half the price of food court pizza.
