Thank you for the compliment :goodvibes

I see you are from State College. I am only about 50 miles south of State College near Raystown Lake and Trough Creek State Park if you have ever hear of or been to either one of these.

I am taking from you post that you will be at Magic Meets. If so, maybe I'll see you there.:cool2:
I live in State College, but my family is in Harrisburg -- we actually live only two or three miles from the hotel where MM is held.

I haven't been to Raystown Lake, but I have lots of friends who go there regularly!

And yes, I will be at Magic Meets... I'll probably see you accepting a prize for one of your photos!

Wow! Talk about hard to pick. I did, but I like the others, too. I voted for the Poly, but the first Kiss Goodnight pic was great - it's a view of the castle not many have seen.

I'll be at magic meets too! I'm planning on wearing my Disunplugged tshirt.

See you there.

I like number 4! It is a different view of the castle then we are use to, unless we ate at California Grill? Right?

That's exactly right. Last time was our first time there. We have an ADR for this fall too. Can't wait to go back:goodvibes

If my wife lets me maybe I'll have a new DSLR till then and I can get some really good pics.

My vote is for #1.

That being said, is everyone going to Hershey Park the next day? I wasn't going to Magic Meets but my company picnic (at Hershey Park) is the the same day as the Hershey Park day and I would love to be able to do a mini-meet. I will wear my Dis Unplugged shirt for easy identification :goodvibes

I am not heading to Hershey Park. We live close, only about an hour and a half away, but Hershey Park is the oppsite direction for us. I think we are going to do the meets after tha magic our whatever they are called.

I chose #4 as I think it gives a unique perspective of the Magic Kingdom than what people are used to seeing. I know a lot of people voted for # 1 and it is a great shot but for a contest I wouldn't enter it. Don't take it the wrong way because the phot is precious. I think that the reason I wouldn't enter it because of a few reasons. The hand that is pointing on the right in the forground distracts from what the main focus of the photo should be, which of course is the girl in the water. Also the people in the background make the photo too busy in the background. I don't know if maybe you can photoshop this photo to focus more directly on the girl? Since you were asking for opinions I am just telling you where my eyes are drawn in the photo. And depending on the judges, theirs may be as well.

I'm really impressed with how well the photos came out. Wishing you the best!!!:wizard:

magic kingdom at night is a very good picture. you should enter it. it's really good. was it taken from a monorail or contemporary or something?

Thanks.... I already sent my entry in. I choose the photo of my daughter in the Epcot fountains. I don't think it was the best photograph but I do think it fit the contest criteria best.

As far as where I took that photo.. it was off the observation decks at the California Grill atop the Contemporary.
