I have the Deluxe and love it. I just buy updates for the next year and then tie my old ones together.
Here is the place to buy the Deluxe:
Passporter Store
They run about $34.00 and updates/refills run $19.00. (They are well worth the money.)
If you really want a spiral, they have them at most local bookstores.
When we are planning a trip, everything goes into it right a way. When we had our seasonal passes, they were kept in there all year long, that way I knew exactly where they were and didn't have to hunt for them. We kept our Disney Club card in there too, also our Rainforest Cafe card. Before they had color maps in the Passporter, I would print a map of each park in color and put it with the regular map in the book.
Once we get to the Resort, we grab a map of each park and once in the room, put them into our Passporter and so we have clean maps from each trip. Any thing else we pickup, goes right into it. It makes it easy to keep track of your receipts, and other things you want to keep as souveniers.
I bought my first one in 2001 and it was a spiral edition, have since bought a deluxe edition and updates each year, except this year. I loved my first one so much, that I found the 1999 and 2000 editions were on sale, so I bought them too, and put all our trip info into them. When I take an update out, since they have covers, I use string and just thread the string through the holes and tie them together.
