I know this has been asked a million times, so please bear with me. I will be taking a trip down from May 19-26thish. I have always gone sept/oct time frame and have no idea how the parks/weather is. I am trying to decide PS's etc by which park will be the best. I understand the hours won't be out until end of this month but it has been a longgggggg colddddddddddd new england winter and I am trying to get excited about may. Any suggestions would be greatly helpful. PS its a secret, I am having my boys fly down and meet me there. They have no idea so I am planning this trip as a monther/sons trip.

These are the best parks for each day:

Sunday: AK, MK, or Epcot

Monday: MGM or AK

Tuesday: Epcot or MK

Wednesday: Epcot, MGM, AK

Thursday: MK, Epcot, or MGM

Friday: MGM, AK, Epcot

Saturday: Epcot or MGM

Basically, you want to avoid the parks that have the morning and evening extra magic hours. Also, Mondays and Saturdays are very busy at the Magic Kingdom, so avoid the MK on those days.

Have a fantastic trip! :flower:

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. :)

Thanks for your reply! This is exactly what I was looking for.

Since the morning and evening extra hours are not on a stable schedule I don't think the 'old rules' of which parks on which days really apply anymore. I would wait until the schedule is released for your dates then plan to avoid the early and late parks around that.

The days for each park that I gave revolve around the new schedule of Extra Magic Days days. It's different from the schedule of which parks you would want to go to last year(before the new EMH).
However, Disney_1derland has a great point in that Disney seems to be changing certain days in which they have the EMH. I would just stick with planning your days on which parks don't have the EMH for now (the schedule I gave). When the schedule comes out for May and if you notice some days are different from the regular EMH, then just adjust your plans. :flower:

Personally, I'm such an obsessive planner, I don't think I could wait until the schedule came out! (I'm going in October-November and have already almost planned the whole trip!) :goodvibes

Add me to the obsessive list! In November I had 3 schedules and touring plans laid out, one for each possible scenario I could think of....Kids up early, plan early, kids up late, plan late and one that didn't take the kids into consideration at all. Each morning I looked at the clock and took out the appropriate schedule and everyone thought I was nuts. Well, we succeeded, we had fun and I'll do it all over again for the next trip!

This EMH stuff sure has thrown a wrench into my obsessive planning though!

I've got touring plans for different scenarios too, such as what if Disney changes the EMH to this day! :rotfl: This EMH stuff has made me even more obsessive too! :flower:

SherryPooh I forgot to add something. I noticed your 90 day mark for Priority Seatings is coming up on the 18th of February if you plan on going May 19th. You'll definately want to plan out your schedule now so you can get the Priority Seatings you want.

Good luck with planning and have a wonderful trip! :sunny:
