Going in mid Sept with DH and DD 6 and DS 3.

I read on WDWIG about the which parks are busiest on which days. Are these accurate for all times of year?

We want to hit the lowest crowds at the parks each day. Any suggestions? We will be arriving on a Saturday and departing on a Sunday. 8 nights total. We will have the military 5 day hopper pass.

We have been WDW several times in Sept and the crowds are never an issue. Epcot and MGM are the least croweded, MK the most. My suggestion would be to plan MK for a week day not a weekend. We rarely even used the fastpass system....

Keep in mind the parks are not opened as long in Sept, but since crowds are so low you can see alot more in a shorter period of time. Sept is our favorite time to go, we just got back from a July trip and even though we had a great time we have crossed that off of our list of months to be at the world.

It was our observation that a park tends to be particularly crowded on the day of its early entry. Don't get me wrong -- early entry is great if you are there when the park opens, but about 2 hours later lines were very long. We found that if we were not going to be there for the opening on an early entry day, we just avoided that park (unless it was to go back to MK during the evening).
Kind of on the same note - always try to be at the park when it opens. We just returned form WDW yesterday and had heard horror stories about summer crowds so we made it a point to be at MK when it opened at 9:00 am. It was great! By 10:15 am my family had already ridded the Teacups, Pooh, Snow White, Carousel, Dumbo, Small World, and Peter Pan. By about 11:30 the lines for each of those rides had 20 -35 minute waits.

I agree with morrow4. If you go to EE, leave before lunch. A strategy that worked for us was to EE, leave at 11 and then go to a park that had EE the previous day. Since everybody was at MGM on Tuesday for EE, it was less crowded on Weds. I also like doing two different parks in one day, but it might depend on where you are staying.

I am going in December-first week, not during holidays. Do the EMH parks really get that crowded by 11am, compared to crowds in the summer/peak times? I was hoping not to hop since the parks will be closing so early..Please advise.

We were there the week of 12-13 last year and it wasn't crowded at all. There were very short waits. We stayed off-site so we were not eligible for EE. We were able to do everything we wanted to at all the parks in 2-3 days plus MVMCP.
