which parks to visit first

I'll be going May 5-8 and was wondering is which order is best for visiting the parks as for the least crowds? Also, what is the weather like the first part of May? Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks!

IMO, do the parks in the order you want to do them. Some will say avoid the park with extra magic hours, some say to especially go to those. Be sure to check what nighttime things are running that you want to see so you don't miss those - ie. Spectro.

May? Hot. 80s-90s.

FWIW, this link http://www.touringplans.com/BestDays.htm gives some guidance on best days for each park. We will be there May 6-9 so we'll see you around! We doing the parks in this order: MK, MGM, Epcot, then AK.

I always start at Mgic Kingdom....it's the most magical. It just doesn't feel like I'm at Disney until I've seen the show at the castle

They say if you have little kids don't start at MK or else they'll be disappointed in the other parks. Of course, I ignore that and go to MK first anyway.

i guess it depends. This is our 1st family trip to Disney with two kids at first i was trying to do MK towards the end because the guide book says everything else for the kids will be a disappointment.

NOW i am acturally going with tourguides best/worst day scenario for the days i'm going so, this is what i'm doing with two boys 4 & 6:

Monday (1st day at parks) Epcot

Tuesday - MK

Wed - MGM

Thur - rest day

Fri - AK

Sat - MK

Sun - whatever park the kids want and hoping to do epcot for fireworks!

Like i said i'm going with the least crowded days...........

we go off season and go to which ever park has emh that morning so it changes every trip...our kids have always liked all the parks( even as kindgergarteners) so i don't know i 'd worry all that much about mk first ,second or last. we do emh for the first 4 days, take a day off then redo what we want to the last days. so emh sets our schedule
