Which parks in the evenings?

I've read so much about what parks to go to on which days, but these usually seem to focus on the mornings. We are definitely going to be spending afternoons at the hotel, and then return to the parks for dinner or right after dinner. Are there certain days that are less for certain parks at night?

I don't have a preference for one parade/evening show over another. We will be at the Dolphin, so I'm guessing we will see some sort of a show. Our kids are 3 and 1 and won't stay up too late.

Hi Sherri. My only suggestion is to avoid MK on a Sat night. It is brutal. Seems to be an extremely popular place to be!!! Epcot's World Showcase is terrific at night. It does get crowded with IllumiNations and leaving can be hairy. All of the parks get tough at closing. If you can manage it, leave before everyone else does. Or just hang until the majority of people have already left.

We love going to the parks at night too!

I second the MK on saturday night- it's insane!! Also we wait till after the park closing and wander around for awhile, this way we don't have to fight the crowds getting out.

Have a great trip!

Thanks for the great info. We are going to be there Sunday-Thursday, so Saturday night is not a problem. I'm glad to hear good things about Epcot at night. We are at the Dolphin, so leaving through International Gateway hopefully will be easier. Is it difficult to get a boat over to the Swan/Dolphin? The little ones may be tired.

It may sound odd, but we really enjoyed the two nights we closed down Disney/MGM Studios. The first night we did the studios, we got there right before the parade, then spent a few hours riding rides. I got FP for Tower of Terror, and walked on to RNR Coaster that night. (Third week of June). We ended up there another night, just so my hubby and daughter could ride RNR, since they missed it the first night. We thought we just ride that and leave, but ended up closing down the park again!! It just seemed less crowded than the other parks.

WDWMama--I am leaning toward spending 2, maybe 3 nights at MGM. Along with going to Early Entry on Tuesday. My only concern is that my 3 year old will want to go back to MK. I think he will like the Muppets 3-D and the Disney Playhouse Show. I'm hoping we will get to see a lot of characters while we are there. He's obsessed with Toy Story, so we'll definitely stop at Al's Toy Barn and Pizza Planet. :smooth: Like you I love RnR. It's my favorite. The one thing I definitely want to do on this trip is go to the Millionaire show. I would love to be one of the people picked to play, but I don't think my reflexes are fast enough.
