Which parking structure vs Uber

I’m bringing a group of 16 in March. I go to DLR every year, but I’ve always stayed at the BWPPI or the Tropicana and simply walked. This time we are in an Airbnb due to the large size of our group. So we’re either going to have to drive multiple vehicles and pay for parking or take multiple ubers. Which would be better? We are early risers and will be heading to the parks 90 minutes before park opening either way (especially in anticipation of ROtR).

If we take Ubers, where will the Ubers drop us off? There appears to be a drop off area on S Harbor across from the Denny’s?

If we drive and park, which parking structure should we go to that early in the morning? Do the trams run that early?

FYI We are road tripping down, so we will have our own vehicles anyway.

Both structures are open first thing in the morning. Usually Pixar is faster. For Uber you can be dropped off at the harbor drop off or downtown Disney.

If the parking structure is open then the trams will be running. They’re looking to move guests in swiftly. You may not have a choice as to which structure. They just route vehicles in whatever fashion. If you arrive or return later in the day it’s a bit more chaotic since they won’t be lining up cars and the cones seem to limit drivers to certain rows.

If we choose to use Uber, how early should we request the Uber? I don’t use Uber at all but I especially don’t know how many Uber drivers are likely to be out and about that early in the morning in Anaheim.

I would recommend looking through the Uber and Lyft apps and put the addresses in around the time you would be traveling to get an idea. Usually you don’t need to request more than 10 minutes in advance. We have a lot of Uber and Lyft drivers in Southern California.
