We have 3 boys, ages 9, 6, and 3. Going on a 3 day Disney cruise followed by 3 nights at Disney Animal Kingdom lodge. We did all 4 Disney parks last year. Thinking of trying a new one this year. Need opinions. Universal, Islands of Adventure, or SeaWorld?? Or just do a Disney park again?? We will only have time for probably one park this year as we have plans for baseball game on one day.

What are the biggest interests of the boys? Do they like dinosaurs, superheroes, Dr. Suess, Shrek? It's really tough to choose for another family without knowing the personalities of the kids.

I agree, also consider whether, especially depending on the time of year that you will be there, it might be an option to do both Universal and IOA the same day. They are very close to each other, about 5 minutes walk, and if you will be there during a non peak time, it is doable to at least hit the highlights of both in one day. SeaWorld is wonderful, too, but not as much to do for active kids as the Uni parks, it is more show filled.

Since you asked about discounts on single day tickets on the other thread, I would suggest adding a day to your Disney tickets to keep the cost down. Otherwise it will be expensive...no way around it. Save Universal for another trip when you can spend more time and save money on the multiple day tickets.

Well I think Islands of Adventure is the best park in the world so I'm not sure how you could top it and not do that, which would be my vote. But I would also recommend if you always do disney, try 2 or 3 days at universal so you can do both parks. Universal is very cool too, but its not quite the level of IOA in my opinion.
