Which park would you do twice?

Thank you all for the wonderful information and advice.

I think we will do 2 days at AK. Our second and last day. I will make FP for our last day and whatever we don't get we can try RD on our second day.

I think we will keep Sci Fi and cancel Mama Melrose, I was only doing it for Fantasmic. We will just arrive early for this nighttime show.

Thank you again.

We were able to grab a 4th (5th?) FP for Fantasmic when we were at HS. Made it right after our dinner (coincidentally, Mama Melrose!) so keep checking the app. I'm glad we did in retrospect because the stand by was nuts and we were cutting it close coming from Toy Story Land.

I thought the show was late at night. If you were able to get the Fantasmic for your 4th FP does that mean you didn't FP anything else.

I thought after the 3 FP, you get one at a time. I could be confusing myself.

You are correct on the FP - I couldn't remember exactly how many we used that day. We didn't RD that park (we were up late at MVMCP the night before) so our FP's were later, and if I remember correctly, we had a SDD FP for like 5:45. So we couldn't start making more until after we checked in for that. I think Fantasmic was also at 8:00 the night we were there.

My vote would be AK. We have never been able to get through AK in a day. Whereas last time in DHS we were trying to kill time waiting for our Fantasmic dinner. I'm not a massive fan of Epcot. We like Future World but find World Showcase not much more than a huge giftshop.

AK is a great 2 day choice. Thrill rides area Flight of Passage(they have good food in this area), Dinosaur(I still can't keep my eyes open), Everest. Great attractions for the whole family, Safari, Festival of Lion King, Tough to be a Bug(tho it could scare the 6yr old, watch a video of it),Up, bird adventure.

My kids ALWAYS pick AK for our park to do twice. You have a nice mix of rides and shows that make for a busy, fun filled day. I would not pick Epcot. It is a 1/2 day park for us. To is WS is just a bunch of shopping or eating both expensive. HS is nice and we love it but we are usually satisfied with 1 day. Just be open to change no matter which park you decide on because you may go and absolutely love a different park. That is the one thing I hate about this FP system, it is a pain to be flexible.

If it were between AKL and HS, i would choose AKL. Both have fairly new attractions so it certainly would be a tough decision. The food is better at AKL and the Pandora area trumps the new Toy Story area depending on the age of your kids. Mine are older now and although they enjoy Slinkydog and TsM, they LOVE FOP and want to Rope Drop and FP that ride... and perhaps hit it one more time as the park is closing. Plus with the addition of FOP you can often ride Everest 3 or 4 (even more) times in a single day..

It's so hard as everyone is different. On our upcoming trip we are doing two days at MK and one day each at the rest of the parks. Personally I am one who could happily spend two days at Epcot. Whereas HS doesn't do it for me. I've only been there once around five years ago and we enjoyed it. But there weren't many things we were interested in and then they went and took away a couple that dh and I liked best. DD loves thrill rides so she enjoys it and she also LOVES Toy Story so she's excited about that. But dh and I are not into (most) shows, thrill rides (well he is a little bit, but not RnR) or Star Wars. If not for DD we would skip it.

I could also see spending more time in AK. I think I could spend two days there, and really slow down and enjoy the atmosphere and seeing the animals.

Good luck and have fun!

Would you consider getting park hoppers to split that day between two parks?

I like hoppers, and if you are really undecided, they are a great way to have it all. They can be time consuming though, so you need to consider that.

We LOVE Epcot, and would spend two days there. I like to open the park one day, head back for a shower or swim and then go to a different park for dinner. WE then go later in the day on a different day, and sty for Illuminations.

I do the same for MK. RD one day, and get out in the afternoon, hit a different park that evening, and then a later arrival on the second visit and stay til park close.

I would RD DHS one day, have lunch at Sci Fi, and then close Epcot. The atmosphere is way different. Or RD DAK, and close Epcot. (This is how we generally manage this one)
