We'll be visiting Universal Studios this summer after a 15+ year absence (we regularly visit WDW but not Universal).

I was wondering, based on your own personal experience, which of the two Universal parks do you feel would be more enjoyable for a toddler? We took her to WDW for her 1st birthday and she had so much fun! I'm hoping that she'll have as much fun at Universal.

I look forward to hearing your recommendations :thumbsup2

Both parks have great things for littles.
at IOA, there is seussland and many things to occupy a little.
it is bright, colorful and the land is just like the books.

on the studios side, there is fieval playground.
you can see a show of barney there also.

there have been some past threads over the last few months on taking toddlers and littles to the parks.

if i can tonight, i'll try to pull some of those links up to the threads for you.

Hi there!!

My family went October 2008 and my boys were 4 & 2 1/2. They LOVED Seuss Landing in IOA. They LOVED the Studios side as well!! My kiddies still talk about their trip to Universal Studios, your little will have a gran time where ever you may play!! :goodvibes

My son would have enjoyed the Studios best when he was really small. The superheroes and dinosaurs might have been a little intimidating and he would have loved Fievel's play area and the Nick characters. I think that Shrek would have been OK too.

Later on it would have IOA if only for Spiderman! ;)

some other threads with a range of age for littles to a bit older.

i only went back and read through thread since mid december.
i know there are more threads but thought i would stop now in case this isn't what you are interested in

do read through the threads.
don't let the title of the thread through you off base.

there are some posts in each of the above threads that might be helpful for you.

i don't know the age of your gd but assume she is over 1.

if you need more info, let me know and i will come up with threads i gave info on from the summer months.

we usually get a lot of questions from newbies and littles when it is summer time.

i hope what i have found for you does help you.
It takes a bit of time to go thru the past pages and read each thread but i do believe there is something in each one that might assist you in your question.

No matter which park you decide on, I'm sure the kids will have a great time.
