Which park WDW or DL Calif. do you think would be better at handling the reopening after the shutdown?

Currently have a trip planned for early Dec. at WDW and thinking of trying to switch to DL. If Disney ends up limiting guests in each park I think it would be a madhouse with everyone showing up very early prior to park opening to try to guarantee getting in. Like when ROTR opened. They have too many resorts and good neighbor hotels that have the same benefits, to guarantee everyone would get in. At least in DL they only have 3 hotels . Any thoughts?

You're assuming Newsom will allow them to reopen in CA.
DeSantis is much more likely.

Nah. Newsom actually has a plan that he is developing in conjunction with Washington and Oregon. FLs governor just barely took action.

Disneyland is smaller and easier to manage, and relies heavily on local visitors. My money is on DL opening first. If they announced they were going to open tomorrow, the place would be packed.

If I can extend this out to individual parks, without a doubt Epcot will be the hardest to reopen. It definitely the hardest operationally to reopen in this situation. The social distancing coupled with the shutdowns will hit this park hard. All of the individual restaurants will have to cut their capacities by 1/2 to 2/3rds. No fireworks will also hurt these restaurants as well. The vast number of international CMs involved in this park coupled with the difficulty of getting this vast food service operation off the ground with reduced capacity will be very, very hard. All the construction at the front of the park makes it a clear last choice for guests who cannot afford to visit all four parks. If any park or location is to open later than the rest... this will be the one.
