I am in disneyland with a 3 day non park hopper. I have 2 days left, mon and tues. Fireworks cancelled tonight due to wind. There is a wind advisory tomorrow until 9pm. I was going to do Disneyland again tomorrow because I was planning on paying for the WOC dessert party and I was worried about the winds. Now I'm left with not having seen fireworks or WOC. Which is least likely to be cancelled tomorrow (40 mph occasional gusts with 15mph winds)? Or should I even plan my next 2 days around that? Please, any input would be appreciated. We sat for 2 hours waiting for PTO tonight and have already seen it.

Isn't the WOC desert party about the same price as a park hopper? Just a thought...

I did a few searches on the web. It seems the fireworks are cancelled more often than WOC due to wind.

It also matters how often you go to DisneyLand, WDW and 4th of July/New Years celebrations. I find WOC the more unique of the two experiences and would want to see it over the Fireworks. But that is just me...

Good point. Even if you're shooting for fireworks, go ahead and grab a WOC FP just to be safe if you have park hoppers.

Thank you. I'm going to try CA tomorrow and hope the WOC doesn't get cancelled. I had a bad experience with fast pass WOC before and I have a 5 year old, just me and him. I was looking forward to sitting and being able to see without being crowded and pushed around like the last time I went.

It went well. It was pretty windy on Monday night so the WOC images were a little blurry but, the show went on and the fireworks were cancelled due to the wind. We went to Disneyland for a second day on Tuesday and we had a wonderful day, finished by fireworks! My mother/son trip was a little tough a few times when I felt like I could use another set of hands but it was very nice to go at our own pace and not worry about pleasing other family members (adult/children)and their schedules like when we usually go. We both had a wonderful time.

Glad everything turned out for you.
The wind can be a challenge at times.
Thank you for reporting back to let everyone know it worked out well.
