Which park to spend 2 days?

My family of five (me, hubby, DS17, DS10, and DD5) are going to the Studios for the first time on Dec. 8th. We're booked for two nights at HRH so we'll have express passes. My plan was to buy 2 1-day park tickets and visit one park on Sunday and the other on Monday. Now that I can get three days (Sat. - Mon.) for the price of two, which park is better to spend 2 days in? I'd prefer not to spend the extra for park to park tickets. So, for you experts out there, which park is should we visit twice? Thanks!

I'd just wait until I spent a day in each to decide! Hard to tell what you will prefer.

i usually spend more time at the studios as i like to catch the 3 shows, street shows and the parade.
(horror make up show, animal show, beetlejuice review show)

since the hours the above have, i can't do all of them on the same day.

look thru www.universalorlando.com and see what is in each park.
you can get info on all the rides and shows in advance before you hit the parks.

We spend way more time in the Studios but some people seem to prefer IOA. I think that waiting to decide until you've visited both is a great idea.
