Problem
Only 7 days not enough time to do every park SO
Should we miss SEAWORLD OR
EPCOT
We already have a ps for AK as we must see Donald Duck so cant leave out that one!!
I too would have to say Iwould skip Sea World. Epcot is our favorite park and we could never skip it! The World Showcase alone can take up n entire day and night. We have done Sea World and enjoyed it, but every few years is enough.
EPCOT is double the fun. You have World Showcase plus Future World. Something for everyone. The dining options in WS are worth the trip alone.
However if you have younger children, then Seaworld may be a better option for them. I didn't learn to appreciate EPCOT fully until we started traveling to WDW without kids.
While I think EPCOT is nicer, I would also agree that for young children, they might enjoy Sea World better. I haven't been there though in about almost 20 years and this for us was a day from hell because everyone one grumpy. That's not Sea Worlds fault!!!!!
My kids did not like EPCOT allot until they were in their teens.
I would go to Epcot and catch SeaWorld another time, perhaps in a different city. There is only one Epcot, but Sea World is also in San Antonio and San Diego, so you might be able to catch Sea World on a trip to one of those cities.
In my opinion, you can easily do a park a day by not trying to do "everything" at the parks. If you want to focus on rides, skip the shows and parades, as they take a lot of your time. Also not hitting every gift shop will save time as well. The key is to plan...get your park maps ahead of time (most have them online) to decide which rides and shows are "must see" and try to do those first. If I had 7 days, I would do one day at each of the Disney parks, 2 days at Universal, and one at Seaworld. Universal is definitely a must, and there is something for everyone. I just came back from a trip with a 3 yo, a 10 yo and a 14 yo, and I don't know who had the most fun at Universal. I haven't been to Seaworld in several years, so I can't speak on that one, but if you want to do all the parks, it is definitely possible. You will just be really tired when you get home
We are skipping EPCOT this trip. We went in 2002 and we didn't care for it, neither did our kids (4 & 8 then). On the other hand we all loved SeaWorld. Very relaxing day and all the shows are great. We are doing Universal and IOA again for 3 days because we all loved that also!
Have fun,
