Which park the day before Thanksgiving?

I can't believe we're going the week of Thanksgiving (we've always gone much earlier in November but that's the way it has to be this year) and wanted advice on which park we should go to on the day before Thanksgiving (Wednesday)?

My thought was to do EE at Epcot until lunchtime and then head somewhere else. We are also meeting people for dinner at Chef Mickey's at 5:30.

Any suggestions?

We're planning to avoid all the parks like the plague on Thanksgiving Day and hit one on Friday before we leave, but DH is trying to convince me that the parks will actually be MORE crowded on Friday than they will on Turkey Day. Truth or fiction?

Thanks for any help!

Hey! we are arriving at 9am on Wed, checking into the WL and then taking the boat to MK. We aren't doing commando or anything like that. It's more of a "we're here!" type of thing. Planning on hanging out and then heading back the the Lodge for dinner at WCC. I think your plan sounds fine. The parks will be packed all weekend from what I've heard. We are avoiding MK until Sunday. We will also avoid EE that weekend. Wed should be fine for EE at Epcot. Since this is our first (of many) trips on our AP's we are just going to go with the flow and not worry about what we'll miss. Have fun!

Thanks susy! We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge too! Can't wait!! We haven't been in 2 years and probably won't get the chance to go back for 2 more (sob) so while we're trying hard not to commando at all, we're also trying to hit everyone's favorites.

Have a great trip!
