We are going to WDW on Dec 29th and staying off site at one of the vacation pool homes near Disney.
I have read on this board that the crowds on New Year's Eve are so high that the parks even usually close to guests arriving after the parks are full. Yikes!
I'm travelling with a large group (13 people) so trying to brave the parks on that day is pretty scary to me with that large of a group. I hear that we should get to the park early that day to make sure that we get in before they close the gates. I also have a child under 2 that probably won't make it till midnight if we go to the park early in the morning. What a dilemma!
So....those of you that have visited the parks on New Year's Eve, what do you guys do to help your child 'make it' all day long?
Also, if we should have to leave the park for my baby to take a nap break, what will we be missing as far as New's Year Eve festivities if we are unable to get back in?
Thanks for any advice that all of you pros can give!
