Which Park January 2/06 Holiday

Having a hard deciding which park to go to on Jan 2/06. This is a Monday which I would assume is a holiday in lieu of Jan 1/06 for some. We originally wanted to go to Epcot our first day but the UOG states not to. My questions are which park should we go to 2 adults and 9 year old? Should we go to the park with EMH as we are on site?

I love the UG but what it gives are suggestions so you can be best prepared. If you want to go to Epcot, go to Epcot. If the UG says it will be busy it probably will be but if you go at opening you'll be able to get done what you want to get done in FW with little problem. Do MS, Soarin and Test Track first if those are on your agenda. The thing about Epcot is that it is HUGE so when it's busy you're not as crowded as you are in the other parks when they've got the same amount of people.

I am sure that AK will not be AS crowded as the others. We went for the holiday a couple of years ago and it was soooo peaceful there. I heard the other parks were packed!

If I am wrong, my sister, keeper of the official itinerary, will surely correct me, but I think we are going to MGM (which has PM EMH and two showings of Fantasmic that day).
