We will be in Orlando from 12/19 - 12/27. Our first Christmas at Disney! Which park do you think would be the best in terms of crowds?

Welcome to the Dis!
I dont know about the best, but supposedly MK is the worst. We will be spending our first Christmas in WDW too and we plan to go to MK for EE, just to 'be there" for Christmas. Then we will have a late breakfast at either Cindys or Chef Mickeys(whichever we can get). Since crowds are supposd to be really bad we plan to take the rest of the day to resort hop and check out the decorations all around WDW.
Good luck deciding.

We spent last Christmas day at the studios. It was crowded enough to be festive, but not mobbed.
Have a great time!

We were there 3 years ago at Christmas and were not informed enough to stay away from MK on Christmas day and it was awful!! It took 20 minutes to walk 2 feet and I'm not exaggerating! What a wasted day!! That evening we went to Epcot for dinner at Garden Grill and the whole park seemed almost deserted and we talked to a cm that said it was that way most of the day. So, if I were to go at that time again I would definitely go to Epcot on Christmas day!

I've been to MGM and EPCOT on Christmas Day and both were not too crowded. I would suggest staying away from MK. It is generally closed to new arrivals by about 10 because the parking lots are full (though I believe onsite guests are always allowed in - but do you want to be there when it is that crowded?) Friends were at the MK on Christmas a few years ago and said never again - they could barely move through the crowds.

We were at MK on Christmas Day 3 years ago and NEVER AGAIN...there was over an hour wait for Small World.. Peter Pan was 90 minutes. We are always at WDW in the summer and understand crowds but this ...never again. It was the worst... we hopped to EPCOT...
