Which park for Fourth of July?

Hi, I have not been to WDW during the Fourth of July in some years. What park has the most/best/longest fireworks for the Fourth of July? Any viewing tips, etc...

We did Epcot last year on the 4th, and it worked out great. Epcot handles large crowds better than the other 3 parks, and has fabulous fireworks! We ate a table service meal at lunch time, and went back to our hotel for an afternoon rest/swim (we were staying at the Dolphin, so it was easy to get there and back). In the evening, we ate a counter service dinner, then staked out our viewing spot about 90 minutes before the fireworks. Afterwards, it was such a pleasure to be able to walk out the international gateway and stroll back to our resort while the rest of the huge crowd was battling it out for the trams and buses. We're usually too cheap to stay at a deluxe, but we did the Dolphin for that one night only for that very reason, and it was so worth it!

I did Magic Kingdom in 2001 for the 4th and it was fun, and that was even before Wishes!

Last year we went to Magic Kingdom on July 3rd because they do the special fireworks both nights and the 3rd was plenty crowded for me. On the 4th, we went to MGM to see the fireworks that they do only occasionally. This year we're going to Epcot on the 4th. I've read that you can actually go to MGM first and then get to Epcot via boat? or foot? in time for Illuminations or just the additional fireworks afterwards, not sure which. That's real commando style! Have a great trip!

Our family refuses to go on the 4th to any park. We make it a family tradition to go to Typhoon Lagoon on the 4th. We avoid serious park crowds and spend the day basking in the sun. Last year 17 of us went together and it was really nice to hang out at the "beach" together.
