Which park for a half day end of September

I am thinking about a half day at a park on our arrival day September 23.
We will be arriving in San Diego at 12:10 pm grab bags,rental car, drive to Anahiem then straight to the park.
Any suggestions on which park and what to do?Im open to suggestions to get the most out of our time
I was thinking DCA and experience some rides During WOC.

September 23rd is a Tuesday, so most likely there will not be Fantasmic and fireworks, so WoC is probably your only nighttime entertainment option. DL will be in Halloween-mode by the 23rd, so that means HMH, SMGG, and the Big Thunder Ranch Carnival should be up and running. Those are always fun to see, but if you're not interested in those, then DCA is fun too. Neither park is likely to be open late (likely closing at 8:00 pm), so I would go to whichever park has the rides you want to do.
