If we were to only go to one park while we were there which would you recommend for a boy turning 6 while we are there and an 8 year old girl. Looking online it seems IOA would be more exciting for them, but am I missing something about US. I would love to hear what you all have to say! Thanks!

U will miss the shrek show & Jimmy Neutron also jaws etc both parks are equally as good but at IOA more rides etc

I would think that they would enjoy US much more. There is a lot for them to do over there......... both parks have a lot, but if they are into anything Nickelodeon, Shrek, E.T. , etc.... I would choose US if it were me!!

Just got back Monday from a trip to US/IOA with a 6 and 9 year old and they enjoyed the US more than IOA because of the Nick stuff, water play area and rides are more suited for the younger, i.e. shorter, set. Many of the shows at IOA were PG 13 and the majority of the rides are for the older kids (10+).

My kids 7 and 5 like both parks. AT IOA you have Suess Landing and you have Woodywood pecker and The Flying Unicorn and other rides/attractions there. The US has the Nick rides. The Jimmy Neutron and Shrek are not to be missed!! Jaws ride is cool. There's lots of cool rides at US as well. Do both if possible. I know I can't go to just only one, I need to go to both parks!!
