HI,
3 out of the 5 people I am traveling w/ have not been to WDW since it was just MK and EPCOT. Our first day we are arriving at the YC at 11:00AM. I am very anxious to bring them to MK first, but I don't want them to miss the park opening. Our time is limited. We have 4 days to do the parks and spend time at SAB. Plus we will be out late every night (we like to party).
So w/ that said, should we go to MGM or EPCOT first? Are the lines for the TOT and RNR going to be out of this world at that time of day? Will it be a waste of time to go to MGM at noon?

are you planning on going to AK at all? Im going my first day to AK because there is less to do there (or rather I should say less that Im interested in doing) but I suppose if you dont have a hopper pass only a few hours is a waste of a ticket since they close at 6p.

Id say your best bet is EPCOT first because the Magic Kingdom is of course so massive theres jsut so much there and it is the best! In my personal opinion though MGM is my personal favorite park and I believe theres more to do there than EPCOT.

Well I am a veteran of Disney but, my parents just went for the first time with us 2 weeks ago. Personally I feel that the MK is the showcase of all parks, even if not your favorite park for enjoyment, it's sort of the centerpiece.

I have to start at MK when with new guests. To many new guests, you're not at Disney World until you've stood in front of that castle.

Depending on the age of your guests, I would never do MK first. I think they could be let down a little. Not let down (don't want to get flamed), just in my opinion, "alot" of the "disney magic" is MK... I would rather start at Epcot or AK. Again, depending on the ages (smaller kids), I would do AK first, (older guests), I would do Epcot first.

I like to save the best for last. That's why, on our 3 trips to WDW, MK was always the last park to visit. One recommendation I would make, though, is to avoid the park with EMH (evening). From everything I've read on the DIS, it can be really crowded that day.
