Which parade?

I'm planning 2 days, not full days, at Magic Kingdom since the kids are 2 and 6 i think full days are too much. Day 1, i planned on hitting everything to the right of the castle but not staying late enough to see the parade. Day 2, i wanted to see the Spectromagic parade but want to do everything to the left of the castle. I think getting there for the 3pm parade and staying all the way through the 8pm parade would be too much or not? There would be a dinner break in between........and the morning would've been spend relaxing at the hotel, swimming, etc.

If you had to pick between the 2 parades, which would you pick?

I think your plans sound great. Just be flexible and if the kids seem like they need a break be okay with taking them to the resort for a nap or for the night.

I'd say out of the two definately Spectromagic is the parade worth catching if you can only watch one. You can check out youtube videos of both if you need help making up your mind.
