Hi

Just trying to do a bit of planning! Quite alot of different parades! Should I plan to see them all? Which is best? Thanks for your help!

Share a dream at MK is the traditional parade, it is the one you are most likey to think of you think of a Disney parade. It is very pleseant.

There is the Stars and their Cars at MGM, this doesn't get as crowded, esp if you go round by the star wars ride to watch it, right near the beginning. I wouldn't go out of my way for this unless there are specifc characters you want to see such as Luke Skywalker and Chicken Little that I have not seen elsewhere.

The jammin Junggle Parade is at AK, this is fun and worth watching if you are there, but agian, I would not go out of my way.

The must do is the night time parade at MK, Spectromagic, this is the parade with all the floats that light up and is truly magical.

The evening parade, Spectromagic, at Magic Kingdom is a must see.

The other parades are all great also and tough to chose between, although the MGM parade is my favorite out of all of the daytime parades.

OK, this post might be a wee bit unpopular, but I think parades are something you either like or loathe...

For my part, I find them mostly to be exceptionaly tedious. :(

... the only 1 truly enjoy is Spectromagic...

I really liked the Ak parade its really colourful , but I supose Disney not Disney without the traditional MK parade just make sure you arrive in plenty of time to get a good view. :Pinkbounc

Spectromagic has the most impact, the day time parades in the parks are all worth seeing if possible :)

Don't forget the Electric Water Pageant - it is a nighttime floating parade outside of the parks so it can be a fun thing to see on your arrival day - especially if you have a dinner reservation at one of the resorts it goes past. Check your times guide but here's a general schedule:

9: 00 PM - Disney’s Polynesian Resort
9:15 PM – Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
9:35 PM – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
9:45 PM – Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
10:05 PM – Disney’s Contemporary Resort

I really like Mickey's Jammin Jungle parade - it just sort of feels like what a village festival parade would be like if Mickey and the Gang just happened to be going through town.

Stars & Motor Cars is not my favorite.

Spectromagic is pretty. I like to watch it near Big Thunder Mountain railroad in Frontier Land but that's mostly because I love riding Thunder Mtn. in the dark.

Great spot to see the earlier "Dreams" parade in MK is near City Hall and the fire station gift shop. You see the characters twice - once as they come toward you, and again as they turn for a final wave before exiting the park.

Don't try to see everything - but do try to see the afternoon parade in Magic Kingdom, and also Spectromagic. The problem is with trying to see every parade, is that prevents you from taking that much needed afternoon break.

I would try and see as many as you can, that way you can decide which ones you prefer.

If you've never been before i'd try and see as many as possible so you can find out which ones you like/could miss out on next time. Personally i'm not a big 'parade person' anymore, if i've seen them once I usually don't bother to watch the whole thing again (might just stop for a few minutes, but I won't 'stake out' a spot an hour in advance or anything!)
