Tough question, very subjective. Do your homework and understand the system and its limitations. You need to consider your vacation style, resort location, cost, likes, wants and needs from a resort. There is a thread right now that discusses buy-in cost and gives some great comparitive info re each resort. I just tried to find it and cannot. I'll look again by poster name, I think I remember a couple of them.

These are my two favorite resorts and the ones I keep returning to. I give SSR a slight edge, just my preference.
SSR has beautiful grounds and is classy feeling, Turf Club is a great sit down restaurant, close to DTD and all of the activites. This becomes more and more of a pro as the commando style trips become less frequent.
OKW has good point cost for rooms, bigger rooms, great pool area, beautiful grounds. Studios with two beds no sleep sofa.
Availability at the 7 and 11 month window will be very similar, with the exception of Grand Villas, at least the way the rules are now. This is always subject to change.
If you know you like them both, buy in cost with maintenance fees may be the decider. I bought SSR sight unseen and have never had a regret.
