Which One?

touch...Its the most bang for your buck (or your parents buck) honestly.

The older nanos (ones that came out last year) Were great but the new ones seem confusing.

it depends what you're looking for in an iPod. I personally use the 80 GB Black iPod Classic. That can play music&videos, display photos, and has many other cool features. If you're looking to use the internet you might want to check out the 8GB-32GB iPod Touch, that has a touchscreen, many useful applications, a constantly expanding app store, and internet(if you have a wifi router). www.apple.com might be of help to you.

I looked there and we went to Best Buy tonight. I was looking at a nano, but they looked weird in real life. The iPod Classics are only sold now in 120GB. There is fifty dollars difference between the 8GB and 16GB, as well as fifty dollars between 120GB.

I recommend this as welll

did you search on enbay if so i suggest a 60gb or 80gb video they last longer than the classics

I would suggest a touch. I have one and I love it. If you have WiFi its a big bonus, but its still really awesome eeven without the internet. ( PLus when you go to WDW all the parks have free WiFi, so you can have fun while waiting in line)
8GB is actually plenty of room in a touch as long as you dont have an enormous amount of music. Apps dont take up much room at all and neither do photos or music. Videos do take up a bit but not alot.

I'd be really careful about buying the new Nano's (Nano Chromatics) If you read their description it involves shaking them to put it on shuffle. To me it sounds like something where the parts are going to come loose and break the iPod eventually.

If you dont need a screen iPod shuffle's come in a lot of new colors and are small enough to take with you anywhere.

my dad gave me his old shuffle when he got a nano. i hated it. but... i accidentally broke it last month.

i really liked the old nano. the new one does sound weird, but i like the colors it comes in. the ipod touch i heard freezes up a lot (everything touch screen freezes) so i would suggest the ipod classic or nano i guess :]

Ive had mine for about 3 months now and it has never frozen up once. As long as you take care of it properly and dont do things that it tells you not to it works perfectly :)

I have the 80 GB Silver iPod Classic and I LOVE it! I highly recommend it!

I am getting the new $150 ipod nano for Christmas. It looks really cool, it has like the motion activation thing, and you can have songs, movies, videos, etc on it. I'd say it's probably the best deal, not the best ipod, but it's cheap =)

See in my mind $150 isn't cheap...I got my nano for like less then that last year and it can do everything the new ones can except the motion activation thing which i wouldn't like anyway...I like how the old nanos (i don't know which verision) are smaller then a credit card so they fit very slim in a pocket.

I mean, when I say $150 is cheap, I mean cheap for a Ipod. Those ITouch's and Classics are alot more than that.

I really love the new motion activation thing, it's just what you could do with the ITouch, you just can't touch the screen to play a song. You can turn it sideways, upways, hold 8gb, and shake it to shuffle your songs :goodvibes

Try the touch. It's worth the money, in my opinion. I have one, and it works great. My dad also bought one, and he loves his, too.

But just try to get one that you can afford. It has 8GB, and that is around 2,000 songs. I don't even know two thousand songs, so just get one that will suit you.

Well obviously the Touch is in majority. I didn't know that about free Wifi in the parks!!! How often do you use yours?

I use mine all the time. The WiFi connection is actually stronger than I would have thought. We have a wireless router in my house and I can get internet on my Touch from my garage.

It is expensive, but its worth it for what you get.
The nano chromatic does have most of the features of a Touch but the screen is way smaller and you cant have any apps.
